This is a very high Quality Tongue Sweeper, all Metal w/rubber tipped handle. This is a Late review, I planned on buying another one later but I couldn't find one so I purchased the model " TongueMate" from this same company. What a mistake, the Only metal is what you see. very low quality.

I've had a couple of these for years--one stays in my bathroom at home and one stays in my suitcase toiletries bag because I travel frequently. I expect the two I have will last forever--they're good quality and there's nothing on them that can wear out or break. Why am I buying another one? When I bought them, the vendor didn't allow me to choose the color of the handle and I got a blue and pink one. After 3-4 years I'm finally tired enough of looking at the pink one and I'm buying a color I like. Sue me--I don't like pink.
This manufacturer makes cheaper versions that don't have the vinyl coated handle, but the vinyl coating makes it MUCH easier to use (yes, I've tried both). This is something you'll have forever, so spend an extra couple bucks and get one that will last.

this product isn't exactly the highest grade material but it works.
The sweeping radius of the tongue cleaning edge is quite rounded so there isn't much "scraping" action, which is more desired in reality. A tool that is too sharp can cause serious damage so I think the design is OK in that regard.
Overall it's very light and feels somewhat cheap but it does the job relatively well.
this is not one of those tools to mistreat and leave wet/dirty/etc. It will probably rust with time so regular maintenance would be a good choice.
Last but not least, the size is I think appropriate. Not too big or too small. Ideally just a tad smaller would be best so it fits tongue curvatures a little better for the back of the throat. Overall it's not too bad and it's not a high risk purchase since it works OK.
I am giving it 3 stars because of somewhat cheap construction vs. high price.
I don't see this costing any more than $2 a pop to manufacture yet the full price with shipping is almost $20.
