 I love the placker product normally

I love the placker product normally, however these seem to be shredding more easily then the ones in the past that I have purchased at a store. I purchased online because I can't seem to find in stores anymore the plain (not mint flavored, not double stranded) flossers. I want just an ordinary unflavored single stranded strong threaded flosser. Why are they no longer carrying in stores? I don't even need a gentle fine flosser just a single stranded flosser.

These are substantially inferior to the Plackers I have used for years. The quality of the floss is is considerably less durable than the old version. I used to be able to floss both upper and lower jaws with one Placker. Now it takes two or three to do the job. This used to be a great product, but the current version should invite competition from someone willing to match the quality of the old Plackers.

They took the most perfect product and value engineered it to worthless. Unless you get the version with the tooth pick pointing away from the floss, don't even bother purchasing these. The ones with the tooth pick pointing toward the floss are not made with the same quality as the old style. They practically fold in half when you try to get the floss between your teeth. Not sure if they are thinner or just made with a less rigid plastic than before but I will not be purchasing these anymore, after using these for over 10 years, I am so disappointed.
