This is a good, solid text, November 20, 2015

This is a good, solid text, with questions which are relatively similar to what I found on NCCAOM. There is a basic review of key concepts at the beginning of each chapter. This is not enough to "learn" from, and if the material is not already familiar, you probably want to break open your notes and college texts again.

Excellent review material. It's really more suited for the NCCAOM test than California because the CALE has more esoteric questions about what points meridians cross and other things you'll never use.
This book is especially good for those of trained in California because I don't think I've heard anyone having a class that talks about guasha, or proper uses of ultra red and ultra violet lights.
While there were some typos and wrong answers in the quizzes, it's a great book to get yourself in test mode. Hopefully in the future Dr. Li will come out with one for herb/formula exam.
