5.0 out of 5 stars.  it also brings the parents closer and of course even more secures the warmth and love to parent/child, June 30, 2014
By Speakerguru
This ideal for families that understand centuries old discoveries can help health problems today. And with families, sometimes mildly messaging the feet or hands can not only actually help with a headache, body ache or many other areas, it also brings the parents closer and of course even more secures the warmth and love to parent/child. At age 16 I learned of the means to quell a headache by massaging a portion of my own hand....and can count the times of a lingering headache more than mild or erased on the fingers of one hand. This book renders the means to safely enjoy life and better health.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  informative and easy to use, March 04, 2013
By Ruth Cunha
This book was put together well: concise information, good pictures, stays open for reference while working on a foot. I've had it for about a month now. I haven't been consistent enough to find use of reflexology to make much of a difference in our health (which is already pretty good), but in the very least it is an organized way to soothe someone else or yourself. You pick up the treatments you are most interested in very quickly and will find yourself treating your hands or feet at random times, even absent-mindedly.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Quite good information at a very good price, July 09, 2012
By kioskimies
Quite nice all-around information on the subject. It doesnt go into depths, but it isnt supposed to. The baby section is important. I have learned the basics of reflexology and its really efficient on babies. For me its an everyday tool for baby care taking, works wonders. Just remember to wash your hands before applying.

Some sections of this book are too surfacial, should be more depth. But otherwise its a nice book to start learning this so very important art in your family.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  A Very Useful Guide, April 29, 2007
By M. Hahn
I checked this book out from the library and was so pleased that I decided to buy it. I found the colorful foot and hand maps (charts) to be not only interesting but also very helpful and informative. They tell you exactly what other part of your body corresponds to each part of your hand and foot. I have not tried everything in the book yet, but I have had a lot of success with the foot relaxation session and complete feet workouts. I tried them out on family members who were suffering from aches and pains from daily life- within the half hour to an hour that I massaged their feet according to the guide, they not only felt pain free but light, free and filled with health. We do not have any family members suffering from chronic ailments, but she does have special sections dealing with issues such as heart problems. I plan on using this book to help us the next time we should have a sore throat, or back pain, or any other problems, to see if I can't alleviate the pain without medicine. This is a wonderful book that I recommend to anyone who would like to spend quality time with their family, and who would like to explore preventative care instead of constantly popping aspirin for daily life.
