Product Description:

The third edition of Textbook of Endodontology provides lucid scholarship and clear discussion of endodontic principles and treatment to dental students and dental practitioners searching for current information on endodontic theories and techniques. It contains many new line drawings and clinical images and retains core concept, advanced concept, clinical concept, and key literature boxes for ease of assimilation.

Significantly revised and completely updated, this new edition features a number of new chapters on local anesthesia, asepsis, access and canal negotiation, irrigation and disinfection, emergency management, and medicolegal considerations. Aspects of diagnosis, deep caries management, decision-making for endodontic retreatment, orofacial pain, and clinical epidemiology also receive greater emphasis. A final chapter on the pressures facing young dentists as they transition from dental school to independent practice provides helpful insights to help them strive to remain true to core principles of training.
