I have bought a number of books for my collections on hypnosis and psychology. Most are good enough to at least have a point of view and share that with me - so I think that it worth the read.

Excellant Introduction to the field., February 10, 2014

This book has all of the elements required for the field. I is well researched and is easy to implement. This book implements a direct approach to hypnosis which can be tedious for the patient. I have found that rapid induction is the best if the patient is in severe pain due to the inability to focus. All-in-all this is an excelant primer. Dr. Robert S Cull, Psy.D. A good primer, and exactly that, September 15, 2013

It is exactly what the title suggests, a primer on medical hypnosis. I suppose I had anticipated something a little more comprehensive, however, it does provide a reasonable explanation of the various uses of medical hypnosis

Outstanding Resource, July 30, 2011

This is an excellent presentation of the clinical use of hypnotism. With evidence based information and thorough references, I believe this book should be required reading for all GPs and particularly those involved with pain management. I will watch for more by this author.

Excellent introduction to modern use of hypnosis in medicine. Actually based on experience and research. Plenty of references for further study.
