The book is good, but on the kindle version it does not send the audio CD with exercises much needed.

Clinical Hypnosis Textbook by Ursula James - an excellent introduction, May 19, 2009

I really liked this book. It is deceptively simple. If you want to learn how to do hypnosis and add it as a tool for psychotherapy or medicine, this is the book to start with. It takes you through how to deliver hypnosis (with a CD so you can copy the intonation), and explains what is happening at each step of the process. I am really pleased that I got it, and will definitely use it now I have got to grips with the basic techniques. Excellent. Would recommend it to any professional, or anyone with a genuine interest in the real Mcoy!

This is a beginner's book on hypnosis, and not what I would consider a textbook. Very basic information for someone who doesn't know anything about hypnosis.
