Good if you need inexpensive loud trimmer

You get what you pay for normally. Consider this one if sound is not an issue. It's very loud and instructions are very difficult to understand. Looks as though someone that didnt speak English wrote the instructions in English. Parts are thin and no hood over grinding wheel so you are sprayed with water and everything around you. It is also a lot smaller than you would expect, look over dimensions. Good if you need inexpensive loud trimmer.

Horrible! Sounds like a 747! It's got too many RPMs or something, it's almost like a rebuilt motor. I hate this trimmer.

Watch the Water

Trims models well, but construction causes it to spray water all over the place, either wear a bathing suit or rain coat when using.

Needed one quickly

We needed a relatively inexpensive model grinder and had seen one of these in operation. We received it fairly quickly & everything looked good. We had to make a trip to the hardware store because the water supply and drain weren't typical for any model grinder we'd ever used. Once everything was connected & the water turned on it leaked.....took us more than an hour and many tries tightening as much as we could...finally spread adhesive silicone caulk all around the area and left it overnight. Next morning that leak had stopped but the water didn't spray onto the wheel like it should making a very dry, dusty grind. We opened the front of the unit to adjust the spray....once we put it back together the bottom seal on that leaked!! After more silicone caulk and several more adjustments it finally worked!!! Then, about 3 weeks later my husband was using the model grinder and the grinding wheel itself exploded into about 20 pieces. Fortunately he was not hurt, but we had to overnight a new wheel from a dental supply house so we could keep working.....I think that the motor and unit itself is pretty good although some of the areas are poorly designed, not allowing room for proper tools and hands to tighten & adjust. Buy with caution.
