I am very pleased with the sound quality and the features of the headset. This is my second unit - the first unit I had lasted about 18 months with every day use. I have realized that the wire inside the cord is so so tiny and can be easily damaged. I take care to not fold or crease the cord. For the price, I think this is a great value as long as you understand the cord is pretty delicate.
I particularly like the mute feature as I am often on conference calls and the "*6" toggle feature on conference calls is a pain - especially if you forget you are off mute! With this mute button I know my status. The volume button is handy, too.
No one has ever complained to me that I am hard to hear when I use this headset and the listening quality is excellent.

It seems like the product works well...despite having that little boom thing at the end of the mic break off on the first day of use. I set the microphone down, and the tip broke off. If I can post a pic, I will. Despite the break, the unit worked well while using in my car where there is tons of road noise (and where other units fail miserably). I have used MANY bluetooth microphone devices while driving, and they are all terrible. I think having the hardline connection to the phone allows for true background noise cancelling due to faster communication with the processor of the phone...this is just a hunch, but I've asked a few people on the phone if they can hear any background noise and they said they couldn't. So, minus two stars for product longevity and possible impacts to performance.
Overall, its comfy. You can hear people pretty well. It's small enough to store in a glovebox or console relatively easily. The clip on the cable makes wearing this for long periods easier. The volume control is nice...Would be nice to have a call answer button on the plastic volume receiver, but it's not a make or break deal. The possibility of even using this on plane flights with the tiny 2.5 mm jack is intriguing...but if they unit breaks easily, maybe it's not suited for travel!
So...I really hope that the tip of the microphone doesn't affect the performance of this product...if it does, please make this unit a little more resilient Plantronics! This is WAY better than any of their bluetooth components while driving, the noise reduction so far seems to be great, but I've only had this for a week...time will tell! Would be 5 stars, but the microphone boom broke :-/

I have only had this product a few months. Within weeks the mute button no longer worked, which proved very embarrassing on an important conference call. Now the headset does not work at all.

I use this in online gaming, it works so well i can take it off my ear , set it on my desk right in front of me and my team mates can hear me clearly with no background noise and this is much more comfortable than head phones.I don't plug in the ear bud jack so i can use my desktop speakers for stereo output. Windows recognizes it and sets it up seamlessly real plug n play

comfortable even with long use, works on my computer and on a phone. This is my third in probably 4 years of frequent use. So I dock a point for fragility.

Its more than a year now and I was very happy with the headset. After 2 weeks the 2.1 to 3.1 adapter stopped working. So the only option was to connect to laptop. After few weeks I found that the adapter works if I insert it only partially (~80%). It do not work if I completely insert it. I managed this way for around 5 months. During one call I had to mute intermediately and found that the mic suddenly stopped working, I was not heard during the call. There after it never worked!. Even though the overall product is good, there are some problem with the adapter and the mute button.
