I've had the shredder for a few months now and have had a few issues with it.
1. don't over fill the container! I did this and boy oh boy was there a mess! This is not the reason for the 3 stars.
2. I shredded around 100 pages one day and the thing overheated, shut off, and didn't work for a week. This is the reason for 3 stars.
I work from home a few days a week and needed a dependable shredder as I deal with medical information so I really need a dependable shredder. This one works and it will shred a lot of paper in one day but you have to give it an hour or more to cool off after shredding about 75 pages...at least I do.
If you want a shredder that will destroy sensitive documents but will not need to be used frequently - this is the one for you. If you need something for everyday use you might want to consider another shredder.

Good product. Read the manual or burn up the engine. Great for daily shred, just don't expect to do a bunch of shredding all at one time.

Have had this shredder for about 5 months. It doesn't come close to doing 12 sheets. Can struggle to do 5 sheets and have to clear it a number of times when doing about 5 minutes of work. Disappointing

This shredder seems tough and durable. Previous ones eventually bent the cutting edges and then it was all over. This one continues to run for a few seconds after the paper is through to clean out the cutting edges.

 STOP! Don't do it., November 03, 2015

Purchased this shredder in July 2015 and it died today 3 Nov 15. Spend the extra money and buy a descent shredder. This is a sorry product.
