Excellent book. It gives all the recent medical updates, treatments, and their effectiveness. It certainly shows the many options for available treatment of migraine and describes in detail the various types of headaches. Highly recommended.

I purchased this book to help understand the frequent and severe headaches that my wife was experiencing. The book is apparently the #1 primer on headaches. Unfortunately, the book was not ideal for our needs. It is really a textbook and not a book designed for the layperson to reference quickly. Because the book is written for the medical professional , it is nearly impossible to understand the medical terms. The book was ordered as "used" and arrived in fair condition, with one corner of the hardback cover bent.
