Silberstein MD is a Professor and Director of the Headache Center, Jefferson University and Hospital, Philadelphia. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Medical School and completed his residency in neurology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Richard B. Lipton MD is the Edwin S. Lowe Professor and Vice Chair of Neurology, Professor of Epidemiology and Population Health and Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Lipton earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. After a medical internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, he completed his neurology residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in neuroepidemiology at Columbia University. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology Donald Dalessio MD graduated from Yale Medical College in 1956, Dr. Dalessio served for many years as Chairman of the Medicine Group for the Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, where he gained his reputation as one of the nation's prime neurologists, researching and specializing in the treatment of severe migraine headaches. Upon his retirement from active practice, Dr. Dalessio was honored by his colleagues at Scripps by having the Headache Clinic bear his name: The Donald J. Dalessio Headache Center at Scripps Clinic. In addition to his practice, Dr. Dalessio wrote and/or edited multiple editions of Wolff's Headache, the standard text used by doctors throughout the nation and abroad for headache pain.
