This book is composed of 21 chapters divided into 4 broad sections. The first section covers the anatomical, physiologic, and mechanical aspects of dental occlusion and mandibular function. Section 2 covers etiology, symptoms, examination, and diagnostic procedures of functional disturbances. The third section consists of seven chapters devoted to basically reversible modalities of treatment for several functional disturbances and disorders of temporomandibular articulation. The fourth section various aspects of irreversible treatment to the dental occlusion. This book is well organized, presents the material in a logical fashion, and outlines a rational approach to treatment based on an accurate diagnosis of the problem.
