5.0 out of 5 stars.  happiness is possible, December 11, 2014
By melanie reames
I am halfway though this fabulous book you have written! I am not a dental hygienist YET, but start school in January! I have to tell you that I have found things in your book that I was not expecting. I thought I would be reading about patient experiences and how to get through each appointment quickly, etc. I did find those tips, and so much more. In this book, you reveal that through kindness, happiness is possible. I think that is the secret of unlocking life's joys, to be kind. The world will support you in all you do, as long as you do it with honesty and kindness. It is nice feeling a connection to you as an author, and a real hygienist. Thankyou for writing this book! It is uplifting and pleasant, and reads like a friend sitting next to you telling a story. Keep up the good work:) love from NY! Melanie

3.0 out of 5 stars.  So-So, July 21, 2014
By Meredith Bosch
First off, this book is very thin and there is not much to it. While there were a few things in it that were great, I wasn't impressed. There's a goofy section on astrology and how it can help determine what kind of patient you are dealing with. As a hygienist, who has time to look at someone's birth month? I thought overall, if you are a student myabe this book may be helpful, but if your already practicing, most of the info is nothing you don't or shouldn't already know.
