This book is a good source of info, but in order to have it be useful you need to get the newest one - a new edition comes out every year. And by the way, Dr. Kanani's book is a waste of money! I bought it and there was nothing extraordinary about it. A better resource is the dental forum at studentdoctor.net.

 A good book for it's day but there's a better book out now, June 13, 2004

In a few words (I just graduated from dental school and we're moving in a few days!!), I wanted to say that I have a few friends that just got accepted to dental school this week (NYU, Penn, Boston) and they used a book that was so current on the dental school application process that it quite frankly, shocked me! It's a book by Dr. Kanani on dental school applications and his statistical information was dead on for Boston Univ. and NYU and I mean recent admission stats. They obviously update the book very regularly. Anyways, good luck with your apps.
