I like its advice on interviews, and dat in general. I also like how it has full practice test. However, there are barely any practice questions on PAT and the ones there have so much typo, especially concerning answer keys. So many answer keys were just straight up wrong. I hope the next edition will fix all these stupid errors.

Waste of my money. There are so many mistakes and I couldn't even find the corrections online or the answers. I wouldn't use this again, neither would I recommend anyone taking the DAT to buy this. DO NOT BUY.

The PAT volume of the Gold Standard set is full of textual explanations and figures to teach you how to approach the different kinds of PAT problems. Each chapter is devoted to one of the six subsections of the PAT and covers what you can expect. The key to doing well on the PAT is practice. And then more practice. And then when you're done with that practice, here you go, here's some more practice for you. You will need to register your book online (free) with the Gold Standard website to access all the extra practice problems. But once you do, you'll be able to practice more.
The full-length practice test included with this volume covers all DAT sections, not just the PAT. It comes with an answer key in the style of a student solutions manual. The test portion is also detachable, if you feel like doing that.
Just a note. There is an "errata sheet" (with corrections) for this volume that you can get for free from the book's website. The customer service representative I chatted with (online chat) was very friendly and provided it.

frankly, advice is similar to what you can get for free on SDN. But the book/online has a lot more practice than I expected. pics and video explanations. practice is really imp. for PAT. cheaper here than barnes and noble or elsewhere. I got the correction sheet with the book so no issue with answers. PAT 23

Answer keys are WRONG!, May 20, 2014

As if the PAT wasn't confusing enough, the answer key, at least for the hole punching section was almost entirely WRONG, and they repeated questions and gave different solutions for each. Be wary when purchasing this book.
