Charge Problems After six months.

I purchased this Oral-B because my previous one stopped working Could not have it repaired because I was sold an out dated toothbrush and the part needed for repair was no longer available. Have had this one for 6 months and now it has stopped charging. The company gave a $20 coupon to purchase this toothbrush through Amazon without Prime so I had to pay for shipping. The $20 coupon was reduced by the shipping cost. Purchase another? I don't think so. Maybe this one can be repaired. The shipping will be at my expense. The question is: Is it worth it?

I couldn't be more happier with this

I was waiting until the price went down to finally purchase. I couldn't be more happier with this, it has 5 features on how you want to brush your teeth, you can sync your brushing to an app on your phone and I have had better results when going for my dentist visits. Using this just makes you feel like you have gotten everything off your teeth.

Love this toothbrush

Love this toothbrush! I thought it was finally to upgrade from my OralB 1000, which is coming up for 5 years old, and this toothbrush did not disappoint! My teeth feel so nice and clean.
The only slightly negative thing about these brushes is that they don't have the window display. The old Braun brushes from Europe have a window display, so you can easily see how many minutes you're at, and you can flick through the settings easily. This brush has 5 different settings, but you just have to push the button and gage it by feel.

I laugh when I read someones review that says they gave it a 2 star because the pressure warning light is too bright. As you age your gums recede and they recede much faster if you brush too vigorously. It is a warning! If you don't want to see it either brush more softly or close your eyes! I have had this brush for 4 or 5 years and I couldn't be more pleased. I have in the past gotten it more wet than I know I should but have had no problems. Because I have recently gotten Invisalign braces I brush the braces after every meal as well. Plenty of power

At first I was against electronic toothbrushes as they were so expensive. Then I went to the dentist who said I was brushing great, but with a normal brush it wasn't exactly doing everything I needed, thus needing some extra dental work (and maybe I needed to floss more). That was my wake up call to bite the bullet and finally get an electric toothbrush. I got this one ultimately because it seemed cool with bluetooth connectivity and everything. I used the tracking and the app at first, but it didn't seem to always work 100%, which I figured. It was still fun and almost motivational in the beginning for me. After a few weeks I rarely use the app anymore.
I began using this toothbrush and had to go back to the dentist a few months later for a check up (yeah my gums were that bad...) and they said that since getting this brush they noticed a real improvement in gum health and brushing. What I liked about this is that it has a feature of turning red if I push too hard. I had a gum graft done years ago and always hated brushing in that area for fear of being too rough. This brush let's me know and cleans up the area nicely without me having to worry about making the gum line recede again with aggressive brushing.
It does have a few settings which I like, although I tend to use only one as it works best for me. The charging station does't take up that much room and I find it convenient to have a brush holder attached. It does have a timing on the setting I use so I can make sure I actually brush the full length you're supposed to, as I was always bad at doing that. I honestly can't imagine ever using a normal brush again. I would recommend this to anyone.

Essential and reliable

The previous model finally ran out of steam after a few years, but I liked it so I replaced it with this model, which appears to have been changed only cosmetically. I like the 30-second alerts and the pressure alarm. I like it so much that I rigged a holder for it in my truck camper so I can plug it into a small (150-watt) 12-volt-to-110-volt inverter. It charges on 0.9 watts, so it's no drain on the camper batteries. My dentist says everyone should use one of these.
