As esthetic dentistry continues to grow in popularity, dentists are offered an opportunity to expand their practices and attract new patients. Esthetic Dentistry in Clinical Practice provides dentists with the skills to take advantage of that opportunity. Clearly outlining esthetic procedures, the book enables dentists to treat patients in an efficient and clinically sound manner, bringing esthetic dentistry to everyday practice.

Horrible Book, Horrible Instructor, June 30, 2012

Marc Geissberger is the chairperson of the restorative dentistry department at Univ of the Pacific School of Dentistry. As a dental student at this school, I was forced to buy this book at full price even though it was not integrated into any aspect of our curriculum. This was a result of Marc Geissberger getting himself onto the textbook selection committee at the dental school. The book is primarily anecdotal and has little solid research behind it. You will notice that there are 40 to 50 copies of this textbook for sale at very low prices. My classmates and I have been trying to dump this book ever since we were forced to buy it.
Marc Geissberger is very unpopular amongst the Univ of the Pacific students, faculty, and staff. He is a legend in his own mind. This book feeds his ego, but adds nothing to the body of dental literature.
