This is a wonderful book and should be in every dentist's office as well as every library. While I bought it for my children, it is extremely helpful and informative for adults as well. It covers everything from a single tooth extraction to oral cancer. It is written in a way that children can understand the issues and relate to the situations. Dr. Grippo goes through the various scenarios of oral surgery and explains each in a very soothing and comforting way. Knowing beforehand what to expect at the dentist's office alleviates so much of the stress. It is a great book to have available before you actually need it and I highly recommend it for all parents.
