Very Helpful for the Dental Office Staff, August 23, 2010
By Gustavo Castro (ROBERTSVILLE, MO, US)

Dental Talk explains different setting that are appropriate and not appropriate on how the dental assistant, office staff and the Dentist should react to situations in office pertaining to children and their behavior. It isn't lengthy nor does it ramble on and on, it gets to the point. Chapters are not long and lots of illistrations of "converstations" in the book. I found it helpful and printed some helpful flow charts in it.

It's fun but not that useful, August 26, 2008

I think this is more of a gift present than a useful present. It's written by two non-dentists and although interesting as far as thinking about word choice, it just wasn't that useful. I think it's nice to have lying around the waiting room instead of New Ideas. But if you're looking for a good book to get little kids to take dental treatment then you'll learn a pain free needle technique and more specific information on how to approach a children in the book "Building a no-fear dental practice" which IS written by dentists. A pediatric specialist even. Who USED to do all the restraining of kids and now uses general anaesthetic on only 1% of his cases. That's pretty amazing.
