"In a powerful call-to-arms, Mark Breiner challenges the Medical and Dental professions to recognize that the teeth are vital living structures that impact the health of the entire body, so that the old son should include 'the tooth bone connected to the heart bone' as well as innumerable other structures. His expose of the risks to the patient, the dentist and the chair side assistant from exposure to mercury is clear and well-documented, as are the dangers of fluoride. The sections on Root Canals and Cavitations are mind-boggling! Everyone should read this book!" —Warren M. Levin, M.D. New York's Dean of Alternative Medicine"Your total, physical health does depend on your dental health. Dr. Breiner shows how and why - and gives fasinating stories to prove it." —Jerome Mittelman, D.D.S., Editor, The Holistic Dental Digest

Valuable Information!, June 29, 2010

Even though this book was written in 1999, it has some valuable information for today. It is an understandably written look at all the facets involved in when treating the whole person. The mouth and it's health or lack of health are not separate from the health of the rest of the body. Infection in the teeth can cause illness in other parts of the body. Also, while whole body dentistry will use alleopathic (modern medicine) when it is deemed necessary, it seeks to use the least invasive treatments possible. Also the treatment(s) with the least side effects. It employs a number of alternative diagnostic and treatment methods.

Powerful answers, November 25, 1999

A sincere, from the heart review of issues often unknown to the dental patient/consumer. Hard answers offered by Dr. Breiner in the face of certain criticism from organized dentistry and the national societies. Still, despite inviting this criticism, he shares information that will help some patients improve their health. A must for patients with persistant health issues.

Finally a book that seems to share with patients the truth about what dentists think and the way they act. A must read for people concerned about the way they are treated by their dentist. Thank you Dr. Breiner for being honest with us and recommending ways to improve overall health.
