I am little nervous about going to the dentist so I wanted to educate myself on all the dental procedures to calm my nerves. His explanations of dental procedures were thorough yet easy to understand. Now I am a lot more confident about going to the dentist! I chose this book because of another review which mentioned the autobiographical story of the dentist. That section ended up being my favorite part of the book, truly inspirational. If you're interested in dentistry, this is a great book with a deeply personal touch.

Extremely engaging, January 13, 2013

I was very moved by this story of success. I have been a patient of Dr. Solomon for a few years now, and I got the book at his book signing before New Years. He actually donated the book sales to charity and I was happy to be a part of that by purchasing the book. I started reading it last night and finished it today. It was a very comforting and easy read. Tells you about the man behind the dentist and the inside scoop about dentistry itself. Highly recommend.

Great book! Inspiring and interesting., January 07, 2013

This was a truly amazing work. I loved the beginning autobiography section about Dr. Sid Solomon's life the most. His story of coming to American with nothing and really making it in this country is inspirational. Also, the book describes every dental procedure and reading the book felt like the dentist is actually speaking to you in layman terms. I would recommend this to anyone who needs dental work so they know what to expect and what to ask their dentist. Very enjoyable and easy to read as well.
