As the title of Pearls of Wisdom, it is fine book of review for the board exam of anesthesiology. Good structural sections for the organized each subjects made the one who could like to have bones to study. Will be looking for the new editoin.

Pearls of wisdom seems easy to read, I like the questions in bold so your eye is not drawn to the answer right away. However, the content leaves a little to be desired. There are a lot of statistical tidbits, but very little on the actual anesthetic management of key problems as well as the physiology we are expected to know. In short the material does not seem deep enough for the actual anesthesiology boards.
