State Medical Boards and the Politics of Public Protection

Today, people are placed on the boards that are not the best and brightest, and the most widely educated, OR THE BROADEST THINKERS--but due to politics. This is from the mouth of a Board President.

When I asked every department associated with the MD punishment courses in Florida, to take the courses as prevention, I was rebuked and ignored over a dozen times. Prevention is wisdom--it seems the Florida way is to follow the state's political elections expert--they still have trouble after so many years.

I have reviewed the opinions of inept and rigid expert WHORES used by many medical boards, and they are such simpletons, it is clear they are good on paper and clueless in many areas. Yet they are happy to offer an opinion. What is esp. an outrage is when a state board gets a witness from another state--SO NO ONE CAN HANDLE TOPIC IN THE STATE=IT SHOULD BE DISMISSED!

Many prosecutors are young, immature, sloppy on facts, and have too little life experience to have the keys to nukes. And be clear, a board attack has the full weight to undermine a 1/2 million dollar education and a career of hellish sweat of over 30 years. AND ANY ATTACK IS RARELY FORGIVEN BY A PHYSICIAN. STEAL TIME AND INSULT THEM, AND KNOW 100-500 PHYSICIANS WILL HEAR HIS OR HER ACCOUNT.

It is no surprise that the "experts" used are not regular doctors, but peer review by unpaid, untrained physicians.

License dues are going up in A DOCTOR SHORTAGE, and so you have the inflation by boards of the numbers of physicians disciplined as a result of piggybacking on disciplinary actions taken by other state boards--BUT NOT IF ONE STATE OR THE LEAD STATE DROPS IT.

FOR EXAMPLE, DELEWARE DOES NOT CARE IF OTHER STATES DROP AN ISSUE AS UNRELATED TO MEDICINE--IT SEEMS EVERY LAW VIOLATION MAKES YOU UNPROFESSIONAL AND A DISGRACE even if you have found a cure for a cancer and have more top papers and books then the board. Delaware is not at the Texas stage where the medical board is filled with criminals, but get out ASAP. Trust me; you will not miss the weather.

IF YOU DO NOT OFFER COURSES ON WHAT THE BOARD CONSIDERS UNACCEPTABLE, REMOVE YOURSELF FROM THE PROCESS. Since as every grandparent knows--prevention is far better than forgiveness.

I am offered a couple jobs a month. I am offered very nice jobs outside the USA regularly. As the author of over 30 books and 27 top peer reviewed and clinically useful papers, I would like to stay in the USA. But my patients from all over the world feel the USA hates its doctors, and board attacks and malpractice sound strange to them.

We are not the enemy. We are the ones who made a deal. We will go stunningly into debt. Lose 20 years, and let us do our craft without rigid and out dated trolls to waste our time.

DOCTORS READ MALPRACTICE AND MEDICAL BOARD STATE RATES, AND WILL LEAVE BAD STATES FOREVER--THEY NEVER FORGET.

SO IN 2023 WHEN YOU HAVE TO DRIVE 200 MILES AFTER 2-4 MONTHS WAIT TO SEE A DOCTOR, THANK YOUR MALPRACTICE LAWYERS AND YOUR STATE MEDICAL BOARD.

ONCE GONE--GONE FOREVER............
