My son took a look at this book the day it arrived, he had just had a test in his Dental Assistant program so wanted to check its relevance. As it turned out, he said that a few of the questions on his exam that day were worded exactly as they were in this study guide, and that many more were very similar. He couldn't be happier and neither could I.

Purchased this book and used it to take DANB certified test. Took all 3 components same day and paseed on first try. Loaned to a co-worker to study for x-ray certification and she passed on the first try, now am looking for a new updated version for another friend to take her DANB certification. I highly recommend this book to study for state certifications.

 Questions were worded like CDA State Exam, December 30, 2002

I have purchased this book and also went through an accredited course. A lot if these questions were NOT covered in my class study. Questions on the state exam were worded like the book...so you had to think and eliminate. I would like to know where they get the information to print questions in this book. Items in the book not covered in the classroom leave me no place to look for the explanation of an answer to know for sure it was correct. My disk in the back was defective and I am trying to get it replaced.

 Did not contain adequate or correct test prep questions., July 07, 1999

The book was supposed to contain test prep questions which would help to get a good score on the CDA test. When I took the test, I saw very few questions and subject material from the test prep book. As a result, I was shocked and distressed during the test and feel that I may not have passed because of it. I did like the computer disk & program that came with it - but it was worthless because the questions on the actual test weren't the ones in the book. Very dissappointing. I did like Amazon's prompt shipping and pricing. Will buy Amazon again.
