The CD is a monotone superficial description of physiology and body systems with a few examples of pathology of each. It does not contain any dental related information at all (except mentioned one bacteria causing periodontitis). No index included for reference, subjects are all over the place, it doesn't follow any logical sequence. It was not useful to me as the information was not in depth enough. Do not recommend in preparation for the Boards.

I suggest buying this as well as having them email you the booklet (instructions on the CD of how to get it). Once you have the booklet, it is a great idea to really understand the material before repeatedly listening to the CD. The CD is a review and is great but does not elaborate on definitions or subject matter. I am glad I purchased it along with other NBDE review books and text books. Great companion study material!!

This gives a good overview of the actual test. It is a decent complement to other study materials when preparing. It has overall lots of information, which are very helpful for preparing for the exam. I would suggest reviewing the entire recording atleast twice before you take the exam.

I am very impressed with the content, and my ease of understanding subject matter presented, both to be engaging and instructive on an otherwise dry topic. I would say that I've always been the type to use the "teach your self" methods and this one is very comprehensive.
