5.0 out of 5 stars.  necessary for dental health care personel serving Hispanic populations, February 02, 2009
By Randy Travis
This is an excellent reference on english to spanish translation of words and phrases necessary to render dental care to spanish speaking folks. It is not however, a substitute for a rudimentary working ability to speak/read spanish. It comes with a CD that has pretty much the entire book on it so that one can print out any or all of the book that they find themselves using frequently. I would recommend this book along with a good elementary education in conversational spanish through local academic intitutions or computer assisted instruction.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Learning blows..., August 22, 2008

This is a cool book, lots of useful phrases. But I'm not sure how well I'll do with learning and using them!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Very Thorough, July 26, 2008
By Chelseason
This guide is helpful if you already have a basic understanding of Spanish. Although it has a great introduction, it would be nearly impossible to pick up the language just based on this book alone. The phrases are very complete and thorough.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  great detail, November 18, 2007
By SuperflyCabral
this book is VERY helpful if you work in the dental field and have dificulties explaining treatments in spanish. Some of the terminology is a little too formal and wouldnt translate easy for some patients but that is a very small percentage.
Great book, worth the money.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  The audio effect is not good, August 05, 2007
By L. Zhang
The CD that came with my book did not seem to be recorded in professional studios. There is backgroud noise and is hard to follow when compared to some other Spanish CDs I studied before. However, I am only a beginner in learning Spanish.
