4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great book, not so great online resource, February 20, 2016
By G Taylor
Great book with great explanations, the Q bank online is cumbersome and not worth it. Would recommend buying used.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  This was a horrible experience as I am preparing for my boards, February 11, 2015
By Courtney
I purchased this new book in hopes of having online access to the student consult in order to do practice questions. The student consult company has said that the questions are no longer available for this book even though the same information is provided in a newer edition. This was a horrible experience as I am preparing for my boards. I need practice questions to fully prepare. This is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT if you display that I would have online access, but do not.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Hidden gem for medical physiology, September 12, 2014
By JoeMed
This book was below my radar for some reason and unfortunately I found out about it after my medical physiology class was finished.
This one beats BRS Physiology (which I also own) in my opinion and it surprises me that it is not as popular as some other physiology review resources.
I think that the outline of this book and the way it presents information is very clear and structured. Amount of information is brilliantly pinpointed to the optimal degree and I just find it to be an incredible resources for medical physiology. Personally, I havent used it for the class itself since I discovered it later on, but I have been using it extensively for the review of physiology before other classes and as a refresher for certain physiology concepts.
Other review books just did not cut it for me and this one seems to be the combination of things that I like to see in a review book.
Don't confuse it for a textbook and think it will give you answers to all your questions. Treat it as a general review book, which it is, and it will serve you greatly and reliably.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Great book, but go for the print copy, July 24, 2014
By Frank
The content of this book is actually great and I use the book frequently. I own the Kindle version and the formatting is what brings it down to a 3-star rating. Whenever you have the kindle screen any less than full-sized, the indentations and formatting of the book become kind of annoying. It is very difficult to read on a PC screen and even harder on a tablet or phone. If you can get the student consult code and access the book through Clinical Key, the formatting is a lot better but the website is less convenient than kindle (a trade off). You're probably best off just getting the book in print. On a related note, I haven't had this formatting problem with Rapid Review Pathology, so the problems are unique to this specific book in kindle format.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Content is good. Kindle version not easy to work with., June 25, 2014
By Amanda W.
The book is a pretty standard review book. Contains an outline format, so if you are looking for explanation I would not recommend this. I bought the Kindle version and was not happy with it. it was very hard to follow and study from.
