Must have for any dentist who wants to up their implant game, April 15, 2016

I have been placing (and restoring) implants for over 10 years. I want to up my game without investing tens of thousands of dollars into impant dentistry programs. This book is exactly what I was looking for. It is very well written. Excellent illustrations and charts are very helpful. I purchased this after reading other reviews suggesting that this textbook contains all the information that is offered at the Misch Institute. My understanding of and confidence in talking with patients about implants is already noticeably higher, and I'm only on chapter 3 (I use it as a reference as well, but I am in the process of reading it cover-to-cover). Anecdotally, I am seeing an increased case acceptance rate for implants and implant-supported prostheses as my understanding of why implants are the best solution for tooth replacement has deepened (Chapter 1 is fantastic to sharpen your conversation skills with potential implant patients). A good reading of Chapter 1 alone will pay for the book many times over if you are already restoring implants and are looking to help patients understand what you already know – implant restorations are far superior to traditional dentures and partials and even fixed bridges. I can't recommend it highly enough.
