A very complete cookbook for those in braces, March 09, 2014

I think a cookbook for adults in braces is the best idea ever! When I just had my braces I had the most boring meals ever (yoghurt, mashed potatoes) compared to these recipes.
What's more, the recipes are all quite simple and straightforward- no need to hunt down any special ingredients or spend hours in the kitchen- something you definitely do not want to do when you're in pain. I'm enjoying the completeness of the book- it contains breakfasts, starters, a large variety of main meals and desserts. There's even a section for vegetarians. As a European I noticed the recipes are quite US-orientated (muffins for breakfast is still a little funny to me ;) ) but there are also lots of recipes from the Italian, Spanish, Mexican or Indian kitchen.
I also really liked reading the advices on braces and food in general, there were some eye-openers in there for me.
So in short: a very complete cookbook for those in braces, and it also serves as a great present for the poor souls suffering (don't worry, it'll pass!;) )

Excellent Cookbook!, October 07, 2013

I was not expecting the cookbook to be as nice as it is. I was expecting some really good recipes that I didn't already have and I was not disappointed. What I didn't expect was the great pictures and very well done professional looking cookbook. I have already made several of the recipes and found many more I will be trying next. Every one of them so far will become regular meals in my home, even after my braces come off. I recommend this book to everyone, braces or no braces, but especially for adults in braces. You will find this cookbook very useful and easy to use.

Gourmet food with a soft touch, June 19, 2013

I love my copy of this book with recipes that stand alone or can be jazzed up! Pam Waterman takes good everyday food, makes it easy on the challenged mouths (as I well remember years ago) and zips it up so the entire family can eat and enjoy. There is no one currently in my family in braces, but I continue to use the cookbook. I just made the Roasted Bell Pepper and Garlic Dip this weekend, it has fabulous flavor and stays well in the refrigerator for a few days. The Sweet Onion Pie is a great way to get vegetables into my family and I am going to make the Garden Bounty Casserole with some yellow squash that's fresh in the outdoor market now. Thanks for a great cookbook!!!
