This provided a lot of recipes, but they weren't that good, and there were a lot of foods that my dad couldn't eat.

I purchased this book to help give me some ideas of new and different things to fix for my mother in law who has Alzheimer's. She has progressed rapidly sice we have moved her into our home and is now having problems eating and swallowing her foods. The recipes in this book are very simple and most all of the recipes require ingredients that most everyone has on hand, and if you dont have an item or two they are easily found at any grocery store. The recipes also sound like they are going to be very tasty. Highly recommend this book for care takers or anyone having chewing or swallowing difficulties!!

I was preparing for the, aftermath of dental surgery and a liquid/soft food diet for TWO MONTHS and thought this would be just what I needed. WRONG. It was a regular cookbook. Pooey! I deleted it from my Kindle.

Good, but not all of it, June 05, 2016

I liked almost all of the recipes, but could probably only eat about half of them. A bunch of them (sandwiches, anything with ground meats, etc.) are still beyond my chewing capacity for a few more weeks. Pretty basic stuff for the most part. Lots of vegetables here, which is great, but also a bunch with canned cream soups. Overall, I liked what I've read and am looking forward to making several.
