 One of the nicest books in Maisy's first experience series, September 15, 2015

Great book to read to a tot before first visit to the dentist!! Basically describes everything that he / she will/may experience in a dental clinic during the first visit. My girl loves this book! Simple enough for her to understand and be excited about going for the 1st visit to dentist. Good!

Charley (crocodile) is the first one with a wobbly tooth. As he is a little nervous, his friends all go with him to visit the dentist. There he sits in the special dentist's chair, has x-rays etc. The dentist, Dr. Biteright, soon discovers that it is a baby tooth that is wobbly so it will fall out on its own and then a new tooth will grow in its place. The dentist also teaches them how to clean their teeth properly.
A delightful, brightly illustrated, well-written book to reassure children that there is nothing to fear when going to the dentist. Maisy books have been a family favorite for years here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My granddaughters love all the Maisy books. The animal characters are very appealing to preschoolers and somewhat older than that.

My daughter had her first dentist visit at 18 mos. I READ to her from Kindle and showed her the pics. I believe it helped ease the experience for her. We are now at appt #3 and each time I reAd this to her the week of the appointment. I don't even have to sit in the chair with her. Maybe the book does help...not sure. Really cute story though.
