5.0 out of 5 stars.  A CUTE little tooth story!, July 20, 2003
By HYEKim
Poor Tabitha is trying EVERYTHING to make her loose tooth come out including; dancing around her bedroom, bouncing on a trampoline even tying a string around it and attaching it around her turtle! But try as she might her stubborn tooth just WON'T come out and just as she was about to give up "AAHHCHOO" she sneezes and out comes her tooth, just in time to put under her pillow for the tooth fairy!
A fun little story with whimsical, bright illustrations. My daughter loves this book and so will your little one!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Terrifically inventive!, February 24, 2003
By yA customer
Parents and Teachers of the 5-7 year old losing first teeth will want to share this inventive book with their children. Tabitha has a loose tooth and tries a number of ways to make it come out. In the end, it pops out with a sneeze!
The story is amusing and that's enough reason to enjoy it with your children. For those who are helping children succeed in the task of learning to read, this is a great example of the solutions-tried story structure. Read it for enjoyment all the way through first. Then read it to identify the story elements and discuss all the solutions Tabitha tried. The actual solution to the problem of getting the tooth out was an accident, so that adds interest. In discussing the story, use sequence words such as first, then, next, and finally. This conversation should be fun!
