2.0 out of 5 stars.  Franklin's deception without consequence, December 08, 2014
By A Customer
Seems like there is a bigger issue here, and that's Franklin's deception and dishonesty, in lying about having teeth in order to get a free gift. The turtle parents never address this, but rather they REWARD his deception? Let's see tactics like that work for Franklin later in life in the workforce, when he loses a job over dishonest practices. "But my turtle parents taught me that deception was rewarded?" I give this 2 stars because I do admire the detailed artwork in this series, but the morality is a different issue entirely.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Franklin and the Tooth Fairy, July 29, 2013
By Elyse Wheeler
Franklin is every young child's friend. They can instantly connect with the young turtle's sense of adventure and enjoy watching him work through familiar problems and solve them in his own way. All of them have been authored by Paulette Bourgeois and illustrated by Brenda Clark. They obviously made a wonderful team, since they have sold over 60 millions copies in over 30 languages. The stories are engaging and the pictures delightful. I love these books!!!
