my son's name is max so this book was a slam dunk. he talks about max and millie when he brushes now. when we have a 'difficult' night and I'm struggling to get brushing done, I talk about this book and how 'max and millie do it' and he's usually tolerant to get through the rough days relating to it.

I bought this book from a usborne home party. I was a little skeptical because I didn't get to see the book before I bought it other than the cover in a picture. I have been really impressed with the quality of the Usborne books I bought in general, including this one. This is a really simple but cute book. I probably wouldn't recommend it past toddler age though. My 3 1/2 year old loves it and asks me to read it all the time (we've had it about 4-6 mths). What is even better is that it actually helped us with the task of teeth brushing. He was much more willing to brush his teeth after reading this. He wants to sing "Squeeze, squeezy, easy peasy!" when we put the toothpaste on like Max does in the book. Very cute! I certainly recommend it, and I will be purchasing more of the Max and Millie collection.
