Wonderful book..... I used it with my second grade class during our dental health unit... the students loved it... we "compare" sugar bugs with the tooth fairy and we ALL decided that we want to be visited by the tooth fairy and NOT the sugar bugs!!!!
Thank you so much for visiting my school!!! Your visit was great.. This was the second time I had personally heard you speak. Your testimony is so touching.. God bless you...

We have all 3 Maggie McNair books. Our 5 year loves them. She asked me every night and morning after she brushes her teeth that all Sugar Bugs are gone.

I have a five year old little guy with sensory processing disorder, who in turn, really cannot stand to have his teeth brushed or face washed. The Maggie McNair books have been a lot of fun for our family! It's nice to add laughter into an activity that in the past wasn't so fun! We sometimes even brush our teeth (chew on a toothbrush) while reading this one about Sugar Bugs. We love all the Maggie McNair books!

This book is a must for anyone trying to teach your child about the importance of learning to brush correctly and doing it often! It is funny, straight forward, and full of information about why brushing is so important. I read it to my five year old and when I finished she said, "again!" I am an elementary school teacher and I will also use it with my classes. It should not be limited to just home use...all elementary libraries should own a copy. I highly recommend this book and all other Maggie McNair books for children.
