I absolutely love this book. It is written in an old style so sometimes it may be difficult to understand, but is such a comprehensive book that you can find almost anything in here (almost). It does have some strange references that seem metaphysical, but that makes it all the more interesting to me. I only wish it had a table of contents for illnesses or symptoms that you could then find an herb for. It has contents for the herbs and then it tells you how they are beneficial.

I wouldn't use this as a go-to medicinal guide, but it is a good historical reference and fun to read. Very old with outdated methods and language but still cool to have nonetheless. I have a shelf full of herbal medicinal reference books and I cross reference them all. I was looking for something like that with this book but I wouldn't use it for that.
