As a dietitian I have always been leery about the use of herbs and supplements in cancer patients. This book is a very handy reference to what does and doesn't work (with research clearly indicated). It is a comfort to be able to refer to it regarding possible adverse reactions and drug interaction.
It's also just a great reference to herb and nutritional supplements in general because it provides a clinical summary of each item, along with illustrations which are very helpful.
