Directions For your first use, open the back of the LED light and remove the plastic tab below the batteries. The device will not work if this plastic tab is not removed. Make sure both batteries are face down with the flat side of the batteries facing toward you. Apply whitening gel or strips to your teeth, then put the light into your mouth with your lips over the plastic edges and press the power button. The light will shut off and beep in 10 minute intervals for your convenience. Whiten as long as necessary as directed by the whitening gel or strips you use. Didn't work & was missing plastic covering over batteries. Most likely was a unit that had been returned. Went straight into the trash.

The item worked three times. During the fourth use, it began flickering. I assumed it was the batteries and ordered new one. After replacing the batteries, I tried using the item again. But it worked only once after battery replacement (during this use, the item continued to flicker, but remained "on" for the entire 30 minute session). When I tried to use it again the next day, it stayed on, flickering, for only about 5 min, and then stopped. I could still - sometimes - get the item to turn on, but it would flicker and shut off in 10-20 seconds. I am returning the item.
