5.0 out of 5 stars.  Just What I Needed, March 01, 2014
By M. S. Standridge (Kansas City, MO USA)
I just read this book from start to finish in 48 hours. And I have to say, it came at a very important time for me. I'm in the second year of my own start-up practice. After 3 years in the public health sector, I had been used to "cheap" dentistry and patchwork. Not true quality and comprehensive care that had drawn me to the practice of dentistry in the first place. But the transition from public to private hasn't been without some setbacks, most primarily the ones in my comfort with quoting fees and presenting treatment plans. This book brought me a lot of "a-ha" moments. Granted, it's a relatively short book, so it can't hold your hand all the way, but it was a great launching point for me and my personal/professional development. As much as I have invested into my technical skills, I realize now that I need to turn my attention to my "soft" skills. Thank you Ashley, I hope to learn more from you in the future.

P.S. The realizations that I had reading this book helped me to successfully present a case of life changing dentistry that both the patient and I are ecstatic for. Thank you again.
