 Replaced faulty unit - 2 month fail

Note: started as 1 star review then updated to 3 stars with a replacement unit. Original review 9/10: I've now had the Jetpik exactly 2 months and it refuses to stay on. I noticed soon after I received it that it would randomly turn off for no apparent reason. I would just turn it back on and go on my way, and since this would usually only happen once or maybe twice each time I used it I just dealt with it. But now it just turns off all the time and I can't get it to stay on long enough to get more than a couple of teeth done at a time. Well, now it's the next day and it won't turn on at all. Two months of ownership, and one month after the return window closed. Very expensive mistake. Update 9/26: I called the warranty number and they sent me a new unit which I received within a couple of days. Seems to be working fine. Hope this one lasts because I do really like the way it cleans. Updated to 3 stars because although the replacement unit works great the original failed after 2 months and there are a lot of other reviews out there noting the same. I'm nervous I'll be replacing this unit every 2 months...hopefully not, but we'll see.

I bought this back in October 2016. After 4 months, the UV sanitizer stopped working. And now it's July, the Jetpik is starting to defect. Either the 'ON' button isn't working properly or the whole thing is starting to break. I have to press it maybe 10-15 times before it starts. It hasn't been a year yet and it's already hitting it's life expectancy. I did love it as it really cleans especially having braces but it really bugs me how It dies early. Looking at other reviews, pretty much 8 months is all you get.
