4.0 out of 5 stars.  Body Champ BRM 3671 Cardio Dual Trainer, February 19, 2010
By VICKSAN (USA)
This elliptical trainer was another surprise for us (when you compare with other people's experiences). When we ordered it we were told it will take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. The surprise: one week, good packaging again, nothing missing inside, no problem putting it together.
It works the way was meant to work. Good for average exercisers and has a seat to be used as a bicycle. Listed on Amazon for a max of 220 lbs weight for a person, but the manual lists it for 250 lbs max, which is good for me. It is a good construction, no noise, no wobbling.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Good Home Cardio Machine - Recommended, November 22, 2010
By CFH (Blue Ridge Summit, PA USA)
We bought the Body Champ "Cardio Dual Trainer" for use in our cramped basement and it works nicely for our needs, with the following observations:

Setup -
+ Took my son and I about 1.5 hours to build it from unpacking to plugging it in
+ All parts were included and clearly labeled
+ Although the instructions look daunting, they really were easy to follow
+ Included all of the tools required (screw driver and wrenches), but using a rubber mallet (on Step #3) and adjustable wrench sped the process along

Pros -
+ Versatile; use as a standing elliptical or sitting cycle
+ Effective; provides a good workout in both modes
+ Electronics; monitors heart rate, adjusts intensity, and provides "programed" workout
+ Small Size; takes up about as much space as a traditional stationary bike
+ Affordable; this is a fairly inexpensive choice for a good quality machine

Cons -
- Stride Length; I am 5' 10" and find the stride length a little shorter than would normally be natural
- Sturdiness; At 230lbs, I am on the larger side for this machine and find it does wobble a bit at higher intensities

Misc -
* My 5' 11" son has very long legs (34") and finds that the cycle mode is slightly uncomfortable to him, but is fine for me (30" legs)

This machine was a good choice for us since it has so many important features at a price that was somewhat lower than we expected to pay when first starting to shop for this type of equipment.

Recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Better than I expected it would be for the price!, January 21, 2010
By Skier NH (NH)
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this exercise machine since it only cost $265. It is super sturdy and very well made. Its weight is pretty heavy and is equivalant to any exercise machine you would use at a professional gym. Having the dual trainer as a bike and a stepper/walker takes up half the space of 2 separate machines. I highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  PERFECT !!, February 21, 2010

This Body Champ BRM3671 Is perfect for workouts. Its very sturdy, quiet, assembly was simple and had great instructions. The size of this unit does not take up too much room and gives a great workout as a bike or stand-up run. Can't beat it for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Awesome machine for the price!, May 9, 2010
By Aleta Holmes (California)
Although my husband and I put this trainer together just yesterday, and I've only used it twice now, he used it only once, it is awesome! The directions were easy, but you MUST READ them, not just look at the diagrams, trust me!! Also, we were very pleasantly surprised to discover that all the nuts, bolts and screwdrivers were very secure in nice, organized labeled "kits" to better assist you! About 20 min. assembly.
It took me at least a full month of searching to find a machine small enough for my home (we are fulltime RVers), and one that is under $500. This is that dream realized!
The machine is easy to use, with the computer supplying the resistance. So far I am only using the first minimal resistance because I found that even the first pre-programmed mode was tough for me!! That makes this machine even better!
Using both the elliptical part as well as the bicycle part in conjunction with each other, I am getting a really good workout, but comfortable. After a few minutes of elliptical walking, I have to sit, so that's where the bicycle comes in play and I don't have to stop working out to rest. I simply bicycle for a few minutes and stand up for the elliptical!! Easy.
It is a great quality machine for the price, I do think it will last for the duration in which I require it, and I am so pleased I'm pink. Well, I'm off to try to work out some more on this wonderful piece of equipment. Hurry and get one for yourself and get moving!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  I'm Surprised, August 9, 2010
By Carlos T.
I bought this on an impulse buy since my girlfriend wanted to purchase an elliptical trainer and this had the best reviews for its price range, so it was the natural choice.

- Building time/difficulty: It took me approximately 1.5 hours to built with no help and it was very easy. All the pieces were in the box and instructions were fairly clear.

- Use: The machine is very easy to use. I've used it both as an elliptical trainer and an exercise bike and have no complaints. I actually didn't read the instructions on how to use it after I built it and had no problem figuring out how to set a program, find the calories burnt, etc.

- Cost: The cost of this machine is amazing for what you get. Everyone that has seen it complimented how good it looked for the price we paid for it.

- Quality: The machine is VERY sturdy, almost similar to an actual machine you would use in a gym. Some of the pieces are plastic but it's a very strong plastic.

With all that said I'm glad we purchased it. I actually put some Velcro below the screen part so I can attach my iPad whenever I'm working out and watch movies, listen to music, etc. I do not want to take any liability if you do this and your electronic device falls, I'm just saying that I did it and it's pretty fun (although not the safest thing to do).

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Very good for the money (so far...), November 12, 2010
By April (USA)
Just bought this machine. Had a few hiccups in the initial steps, but once that was fixed, the bike/elliptical ran well. Just finished my 1st workout and I am sweatin like a pig, lol.

OK so, upon receipt, I started putting the elliptical together and I noticed a few scratches, very very light around the bike in various locations, made me wonder if this bike was used and a return..anyways I continued, they weren't at all bad, very livable and I was excited to get my work out on...like 3/4 the way thru maybe more, I was inserting the seat and it wouldn't insert. Turns out there is a sleeve that goes into the frame that holds the seat in place that was pushed down into the well and cracked. I will say a few things about their customer service. I was glad in the user manual it mentions a phone contact for the manufacturer number to call. In the book it specifically says to contact them and not amazon, which I was happy for cause I didnt feel like taking apart everything I just had put together, to send it back. (Took me about an 1 1/2 up till this point already) so ok, they were quick to answer the phone, a plus, and the woman on the other end was very knowledgeable of the product. She went thru explaining some parts and what the bike seat part should look like. I was asked to take a picture of the seat portion and email it to her. I did this while she waited on the phone. Once she received it, I was told that they would send me a new base (the sleeve was pushed all the way into the well which is attached to the base) and that it would take up to 10 business days to receive it...but that I could finish assembling the machine aside from the seat portion and she explained how by removing only a portion of what I did when the new frame arrived, I could swap it out.

A little bummed, I continued to put the rest together, the last pieces were to put the computer and foot pedals on and I was done. While I was assembling the rest the customer service woman called me back and asked me to try to get the sleeve to come up and out of the well. I tried numerous attempts to get it out, a screwdriver, forks and knives, and even a long spoon I had in the kitchen kitchen. Customer service on the phone with me the whole time. This bothered me a little, like she kept pushing me, as if they didn't want to pay the shipping for the whole base but just a sleeve would be cheaper for them. In the process I damaged a few spoons and then she asked if I had a crow bar in my car. Crazy, I know right?!? Anyways, I went along with it and didn't exactly have a crow bar but something similar from an old jack that was long and strong metal and had a little lip on it. within a few minutes I was able to pry the dammed plastic sleeve out. And at this point you could tell most of the part of the lip was missing and it was cracked. She also showed me where there is a cutout on the sleeve in the shape of a circle that is supposed to line up with a metal hole in the well and both these together are supposed to hold the sleeve in place when inserting the seat. Mine came inside, already pushed down and cracked, so again I have to wonder if this was a referb, a return or just a manufacturing defect. To make a long story short, I sent her another pick of the damaged sleeve and we agreed they would send me the replacement sleeve in the mail.

The next day I received an email confirmation that the part was shipped. I havn't received it yet, but that was only yesterday, so it could take up to 7 days from now. Anxious to get going I asked the woman if I could somehow still use this same sleeve, somehow rig it to stay in place so at least the seat would fit in right (it works as a bumper on the inside so the seat arm doesn't wobble around inside the well. She said sure you can try it and if it works no biggie we will still send you the new part. Happy about this we hung up and I finished attaching the other components. then came back to the seat, trying to hold the plastic in place I carefully inserted the seat stem and whalla! It fit. So I finished tightening the bike seat on, using the adjustable peg (it goes thru the metal well and thru the plastic sleeve so should not be a problem) to hold it altogether. I checked the computer, looks good, I did notice the calories when displayed looks a little lighter than the rest, like that might not display properly soon, I hope not. The heart monitor worked, so far so good. It was late so I gave it a few spins to see if it was noisy, no noise.

Today was my 1st workout. I was able to use the seat with the broken piece in place, no biggie. Surprisingly enough the machine comes with a dvd with one workout on it and a stretching chapter and a cool down chapter as well. So I popped that in. They are brief, the workout is maybe a 20-25 min workout with some basic stretches and a cool down. I got a pretty decent workout from it, but I am kinda out of shape, so this was a good start for me. not sure if it's of any value to those who have already been working out. I havn't used any of the built in programs yet that come pre-programmed on the computer but am excited to be checking this out soon.

One other thing I noticed is during my workout there were 2 or 3 times I heard cracking coming from the plastic pedals. I am a female weighing 198 lbs. And I am hoping these don't crack in the future. I looked at them closer and can't find any signs of cracking yet so not sure where this was coming from, although I thought it was coming from the plastic pedal. The pedal is large and is held onto the right and left pedal arms by 2 bolts on each pedal. The pedal arms are medal of course but the plastic pedal hangs over, the sides of the medal they are bolted to. I really don't think there is any way to shift your weight wrong, so as to have too much weight landing on a portion of the pedal that hangs over for it to crack from the bolts, well at least I hope not. I guess only time will tell. If these become a problem with future use, I will come back here and leave an update.

The machine does wobble a little bit, but over all it is pretty sturdy. The right elliptical arm wobbles in its sleeve even with the bolts tightened as much as they can be, this and the wobbling is a little distracting but it will do. Like I said, I still got a pretty good work out.

The stride is ok, although on a fast run it feels slanted somewhat, or like unnatural, like I am slightly slanted down or something. And it was hard for me to keep up a faster run type pace because my body kept jerking, like the faster rhythm wasnt the most natural elliptical motion. If that makes any sense, is hard to explain. But I guess for the price, as long as I can get a good sweat, which I did, should be ok. Maybe I'm just not used to the eliptical, maybe I can get used to it's stride in time. Will have to see.

Although I havn't messed with too many of the seat settings yet, since the piece is broken, I can't really use this feature until the new part arrives, it seems like it can be adjusted a lot. It has a setting to slide the seat forward, or back and up and down. I just guessed my height and set it in place for now.

I have to give this product 4 stars, it came damaged. Although I was able to make it usable, there's nothing fun about getting a product in this condition, and spending hours trying to fix it, then having to wait the ship time for a new part. Customer service was awesome (thank God - should customer service not have been available I would have had to take it apart and return it) and in my case I was lucky, I eventually was able get the part out, otherwise it would have been unusable until the new part arrived, ...but I did get a good sweat. So for the price, regardless of the minor issues and hiccups in the beginning, this should help me achieve my work out goals in the long run. Hope this review helps.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Maybe it was just mine, June 10, 2010
By celestial delinquent (Pittsburgh, PA)
Ordered this machine April 19th, got it May 24th. It wobbled from the start and I could not get it to balance properly but I figured that was probably error on my part. Within a few days it began creaking, squeaking and grinding somewhere within the main body (which can't be opened). I oiled it as best I could but the sounds only seemed to get worse. As I was using it this evening I heard a loud crack and noticed that my right pedal suddenly seemed tilted down and outward. The cause was the bar connecting the pedal to the arm bar. It had split at the joint where the peg for the pedal base goes through the hollow tube of the arm bar. Further use of the machine would have caused the pedal to separate completely from the arm bar, rendering the machine inoperable. I am well below the specified maximum weight and have only used the machine moderately (about an hour a day) for the two weeks that I have had it. I am in the process of filing a return.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Fantastic Elliptical, September 15, 2010
By filmesq
This is a fantastic elliptical. It was packaged very well and all of the labels and numbers helped with the assembly. I am very impressed with the quality of this machine and I like the LCD screen. I have recommended it to others. I give this a 5 star review. No problems with this unit and it sure beats the machine that I purchased from Gold Gym Walmart. I like the size of the machine too. It's also not noisy.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great purchase for the price, September 11, 2010
By GypsyEyes
I really do love this machine. It is wonderful quality for the price I paid. I love the display and the resistance. My only issues are the noises that seem to come from inside, shortly after I started using it. Up until then it was very quiet. Can't seem to locate the source of the noise, but we're thinking it's from the wheel part that was already assembled. Regardless, I listen to headphones while working out so I can't hear it very well, though I can feel it catching slightly. There is a very slight wobble to the machine, but it certainly doesn't feel like it's going to tip over. It is very sturdy. I LOVE the elliptical/bike combo. It really is perfect and it keeps your workout from getting boring. Definately recommend!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Don't waste your time or money!, January 5, 2011
By HC
We used this elliptical/bike twice and it started making a clanging/clicking sound. We called the manufacturer and they said that it sounded like the bearings were bad. It is also very akward to use it as a bike and hard to push the petals- I am 5'6" and my husband is 6'1" and we had a hard time pushing the petals so could only use it really well as an elliptical. However, when you use it as an elliptical it is wobbly because the front support bar is not wide enough. We returned it to Amazon and got our money back. Amazon was very good about returning this product, but it is a peice of junk. Don't waste your money.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  VERY quiet! Good size for medium size apartment, works well,, September 11, 2010
By purejoy (Vista,CA)
I bought this site unseen except for the review on Amazon.com.
The good reviews were pretty accurate. The size is good for a small/medium place, I don't know if I would recommend it for a bike though, I am strictly using it for the elliptical part....it seems the seat isn't high enough for the bike part and pedals too long, but if you just want a good machine for elliptical and it is the size you want this is good.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  No Pain, No Gain, Stand or Sit for less Strain!, November 10, 2010
By D. K. Perez (Arizona)
I bought this after reading the other good reviews. It is a great machine except for one thing. It almost immediately started making a clanking noise like there is a loose part in the inside of it. This part, where the pedals are, was already assembled at the factory. I would have thought they would have done a good job of securing all the pieces in place. Now I'm faced with the question, do I open it and hope to God that I can figure it out, or do I just leave it and hope for the best? If it were YOUR machine, what would you do?? This is a question that one must ask. When I reread the other reviews on this product, I saw where someone else had the identical problem.Hummmmm.....any how, one other tidbit. If you do like the others and reverse the handle bars (right one in left slot, left one in right slot), it does indeed make a better feel. It gives a great workout, kills you legs if you are a newby like me, but as you work out on it, you get strengthened. I've lost 11 pounds in 1 month! I work full time, standing and walking the entire time, and I find that if I do 5 miles in 15 minutes, it provides a good workout and I still have the energy to go to work! Now, if only this machine could help the DESIRE to go to work...........

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Very good for price., December 7, 2010
By Proud_Mommy1981 (Springfield, MO)
I was looking for an elliptical trainer when I found this dual purpose unit, and was really happy to see that you could also use it as an excercise bike. I would usually have thought this wouldn't be a very good item since the price was so low, but seeing the good reviews, I decided to give it a try. After receiving it and using it 10 times or so, I think it is very good for the money. I would not expect better for the price, plus I got an excercise bike too.

The only negative things are that the seat is a tad far back for use as an excercise bike, if you are going to use the moving handles at the same time. I am 5'8" and with the seat all the way forward, I can reach it no problem, but it's going to be less than perfect for anyone shorter. The other possible negative is that it moves a little bit while you work out. It was absolutely no issue whatsoever for me, since it was so slight, but I am only around 120 lb. For someone heavier, it might move more. Not sure on that one. It was plenty sturdy for me, but thought maybe it would be less so if you were 300 lb or more. My bf is 180 lb and it was fine for him as well. The pulse also seems to read a little slowly.

Overall, however, I was surprised that they could give this functional of a unit with as many features as it has for the price paid. I'm very pleased. I wouldn't have asked for more without paying over double the price. Very good value.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  great elliptical, December 28, 2010
By K&B
First, putting this together was one of the easiest things ever. The manufacturer gets 5 stars just for the way it was packed. Every piece was labeled and all the nuts & bolts were labeled and in their own spot. It probably took less than an hour to put together (just me). One recommendation, put the pedals on the legs before attaching the legs to the machine (the instructions say to do it after). I read the reviews before purchasing and was a little worried about a part being broken or it making a lot of noise. None of the parts were cracked or broken. I've used it about 6 times and there's no squeaks or rattles. I bought it for the elliptical part, not the bike, but the bike seat is adjustable and I can use it where it's comfortable (I'm 5'3"). The digital display is really nice and you have many options for workouts. The manual says the distance is measured in miles but I'm not sure if it's working correctly because it says I'm going really far in a short period of time - and based on ellipticals I've used in gyms, I'm not that fast. I highly recommend this machine.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Small footprint, good home cardio machine, December 26, 2010
By Pals Review
The dual trainer is easy to assemble and feels sturdy. Unlike GYM grade ellipticals it has a small footprint, making it ideal for small spaces/apartments. Smaller size also means it is best suited for adults under 5'10" and 225 lbs. If you're looking for a decent priced machine for light workout this is the best choice (Sells around ~$250). Uses magnetic resistance hence very little noise. The stride length should work for most people under 6'.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Descent product; lets wait for a month...UPDATE DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE, March 3, 2011
By RON
I received my machine with a cracked body casing and some of the cracked parts fell inside the body casing things to shake inside. I was ready to send it back when I realized that I had selected a used "like new" unit. I was able to remove the broken casing parts and proceeded to built this machine. It takes 1 to 1.5 hours to built and relatively simple with the instructions. Using the machine so far gives a good sweaty workout and the stride of course is a problem. I'm 6'0" so if your 6'1" I can definitely tell you that you will have a problem.
I'm giving the whole experience 3 stars because of the cracked casing; although I must say that I contacted the seller and they were willing to take it back immediately.
I will update and wait to see how the machine holds together in the next few months. I don't recommend this product.

this is an update for the product. I will go to every site where this product is sold and leave a review that warns people "DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE" It makes a lot of noise and to go through the hassle of returning it to the company is not worth it, they should pay the customers back for repackaging and a full refund for the hassle of dealing with this product. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Good value!, July 22, 2010
By sahey11 (PLACITAS, NM, US)
Overall, the Body Champ elliptical trainer is a good value. The assembly was the easiest assembly I have ever completed. Instructions and presentation of assembly items is straight forward. Regarding the elliptical itself, the stride may be shorter than larger machines; however, the trainer still provides an excellent workout. The pre-stored programs provide sufficient variety and the resistance range is excellent. I have had the trainer for 2 months and am very happy with it. The only drawback is that the heart monitor does not really work. It does not register heart rates accurately. Other than that, this is a great machine for the price and so far, so good.

This thing made a horrible noise from day one. Sounds like a train running off the tracks in my house. Great options for return too (sarcasm). You can pack the beast up and send it back via UPS (yeah right), or they will help you fix it over the phone (Ha Ha). DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Best of Two Worlds, June 1, 2011
By Kate
I will start off that I have a disease called Multiple Sclerosis. This disease did temporarily paralyze me and also gave me vertigo which makes it extremely difficult to even walk in a n=straight line. This piece of equipment was fairly simple to put together and now I can work out in a SAFE way. I can use the elliptical with ease but on days my symptoms are flaring up I can use the exercise bike and work out essential muscles. I wish I would have had this for years...

I recently purchased the Body Champ Dual Trainer and I really enjoy it. It was an easy set-up in about 45 minutes. Everything you need is included in the box, but a cresent wrench was useful in putting together the pedal units. I am happy that I ordered the dual trainer, as you have the ability to sit down and pedal, or use it as an eliptical. Because I hadn't exercised in a while, I needed to be able to sit when neccessary or I would have just given up and had a new clothes rack. Since I've started three weeks ago, I haven't missed a day. I watch TV and pedal away. I started out slow (seriously about only 5 minutes)and have worked my way up to 25 minutes this week and will start 30 minutes next week. Can already see a difference in the way my clothes fit and how I feel. It is worth the price and not cheaply made. It has some small noises, but nothing major for what it is and nothing that affects how it performs.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Worst Buy Ever, January 23, 2011
By Kris
Product is extremely wobbly. Both my husband and I spent hours trying to stabilize. Product also made noise starting from first use, coming from area that was pre-built. Complete waste of $279. Extremely disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Easy to use, January 4, 2011
By penny gold
I originally found this item at a retail, chain, sporting goods store at a much higher pricer. I found it on Amazon for about $30 dollars less plus free shipping before x-mas! It was a little daunting when I opened the box and found so many pieces to put together but it went together easily.
The only after-problem was seeing an ad after x-mas at K-Mart for the same item even cheaper! But it was worth the extra expense at Amazon for having it having it brought to my door.
The item works well and fits in my small house. I'm enjoying working out on it.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Love it!, December 8, 2010
By David (Columbus, OH)
A great deal for the price! I had it put together in 90 minutes. Skip the more expensive models...they are too complex and take days to put together! This elliptical is just as good as a $1,000 model I used to own.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Broken, February 24, 2011
By sleeper (Seattle, WA USA)
Today I got the shipment of this product from Amazon. I have got it delivered after 10 days. After spending 2 hours unpacking and trying to assemble by following the instructions, I see that it is broken. The parts provided do not fit in so could not assemble completely. I have sent a message to customer service of the product, and depending on the response I would most probably return the instrument back to Amazon. What a waste of time and effort.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great product and a wonderful company, January 25, 2011
By Anantha Narayanan
I needed a good indoor cardio trainer that could give a workout equivalent to running 3-5 miles a day 5 days a week, wouldn't take up too much room and wouldn't cost too much. After some searching, I decided on this one. I have had it for about 2 months now, and so far I am very pleased.

QUALITY
The first thing that impressed me was the quality of the parts. The parts were sturdy and heavy. All the nuts and bolts were neatly packed in sheets with drawings in the back, so you could locate the correct piece easily. Even the instruction manual is printed on good quality paper! It looks very nice, and is similar to something you might find in a small gym. I use it quite regularly, and it doesn't look like it would break easily. I was pleased with the quality when I opened the package and got down to putting it together, and was miffed to find a crucial part was missing. The right side couple bar (which you stand on) was missing, and there were two left side bars instead.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
I immediately called the customer service number, which was on the instruction manual. I was a little apprehensive, as it was almost closing time on Friday evening. I was pleasantly surprised when the phone was answered by a human, and better still, the kind woman was able to help me without having to transfer me to anyone. She took down the part number, told me I would get the replacement part in 10-12 business days. Sure enough, it was shipped the next week, and I got a tracking number for it. I got the part the next Monday (a week later, but it was shipped from the west coast to the east on the Thanksgiving week - no complaints).

ASSEMBLY
The unit comes with all the parts and tools necessary to put it together. I didn't have to use a single screwdriver of my own. The instructions are succinct but clear. The parts and tools needed for each step are clearly labeled. Assembly was fairly easy, and shouldn't take more than an hour. The only hitch was when I tried to connect the replacement bar, and it just wouldn't fit. I realized that this part had been out in the cold all day, and the rest of the unit was indoors for a while. It was just a matter of expansion, and sure enough, it fit comfortably after a couple of days indoors. Whole thing should take about an hour for most people.

PERFORMANCE
So far, the unit has stood up to 40-60 minute workouts several days a week by two people. It shows signs of shakiness for my ~160 lbs but is not a distraction. It may be a bother if you are over 200 lbs (manual says limit is 250 lbs for the machine). The leg room is limited, and could be cramping if you are tall. The resistance goes up to 16, and I use it between 10 and 14 most of the time. Good for burning 500-800 calories in 30-50 minutes. However, the calorie estimate may be off a bit. There is no way to enter the weight for calorie calculation. I think it may be overestimating a bit, but still gives a good workout. The pulse reader also seems erratic, and fluctuates a lot. There is no backlight on the LCD screen, and makes it hard to see in low light. I found the cycle option to be a little harder to use due to the positioning of the seat and the "pedals". It is ok for sitting down a bit for short periods of lowered intensity in your workout, but I would not buy this as a primarily cycling unit.

Overall, it is a good unit for the price and gives a fairly good workout in the comfort of your room. I would highly recommended it for regular indoor exercises.
Pros: Price, small footprint, stands up to fairly long periods of intense workout.
Cons: No backlight on the LCD panel, cannot enter weight, may be overestimating calories burnt, cycle option not suited for long periods of cycling.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Missing A Piece, February 6, 2010
By V. Xiong (Denver, CO)
*UPDATE 2/9/2010

Missing bolt that connects foot peddle to metal bar. Not a big deal, just had to go hardware store for the bolt. Other then that, easy setup, not too heavy, and pretty quiet. Would of gave 5 stars, but missing piece.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Value, February 5, 2010
By tim-tim (IL)
I bought this because my brother in law has one. It seems to give a great value for the price. So I decided to buy one. Although I though this is the same one he bought, it is probably a lower model. Still, it is a steal!

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Not working for now - UPDATE: it's o.k., August 9, 2011
By Christine P.
I got this item as a gift and first of all the max weight is 250lbs NOT 275 lbs. Also took us about 2 1/2 hrs to put everything together, only to find that the LCD console is not working. Took everything apart to double check we did everything correctly and contacted customer support. They sent me some wires to make sure the problem is the LCD and not the wiring. Well the problem is the wiring and now I have to wait and find out what I have to do next. This sucks....
***
UPDATE: So I got instructions on how to take apart the base and change all the wiring (which was not so easy). The A/C part of the NEW wire was broken, so... we had to contact customer support AGAIN and wait again for replacement part. I will comment that customer support is nice and replacement pieces came in a couple of days. Finally after 2 1/2 weeks everything is done.

The machine is wobble but at least I can get a work out. It's O.K.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Going to return this, March 29, 2011
By S. Kowalczyk (NM)
The product itself is ok - if you don't mind LOUD noises waking up other family members in the wee hours of the morning. I am in the process of returning, but I cut up the original box already, so I am waiting for the manufacturer to get back with me to see if they can send me one..

Amazon gave me the option of trying to find someone repair it, and they will reimburse me (not sure what the limit is there, or if I can even find someone to look at it) for the fees. I thought this was excellent customer service, but I am in a remote area, and I doubt it would be cost effective to drive hours out of my way to get this fixed (load it on the back of a truck, the gas, the TIME, and the fees themselves).

The design is ok if they could just fix the loud noises it produces. I put it together perfectly, and cannot seem to make the noise stop. I am going to try and get this sent back and buy something else.

I recommend spending an extra couple hundred bucks and getting something better.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Any one have a problem with elliptical wobbling?, February 28, 2011
By Climberjen
Has any one else has a problem with the elliptical wobbling? If so, were you able to fix it? If so, how?

So far I love how compact it is and it actually gives more of a workout than the elliptical at the gym. Wish it has a cupholder though.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Not stable, February 22, 2011
By Passion for Knowledge (VA)
It gets the job done but it wobbles the whole time which is annoying. It is for up to 250lbs which I am all of 140 and it still wobbles. I had someone take it apart and redo just in case I did something wrong. Still doing it. You get what you pay for. I like the bike option though.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  EDIT! (Not so) Nice for the money., February 21, 2011
By S. BAKER (Michigan)
I have only had this elliptical for about a week, but so far so good. I put it together in about 2 hours, but one of the handles keeps coming loose so I have to tighten it every other time i use it. I hadn't been to a gym in awhile so the first few times I used this my knees hurt pretty bad, but they are okay now. Someone in a previous post said to treat it kind of like a stepper and it is much better. I was debating on one at walmart and this one, and decided on this one because of the seat, and I am very happy about my decision. The seat is extremely helpful to get into the swing of things, also I can see myself using it as a bike often. Its a little weird to use the big pedals at first but you get used to it.

For the money I'd say this was a good purchase. I bought it for 279.99, but it was reduced to 229.99 and I called amazon to refund me $50. They really didn't want to but since I hadn't received it yet they really had no choice.

I will review it again after I've used it for a longer period of time.

EDIT!!!*** Updated after about 3 months of use.

I do not use this machine anymore. It's way too loud, and I feel like its going to break when in use. While it didn't cost a whole lot, I'm sorry I spent anything on it. Now I have to go through the process of trying to sell it.. ughhh.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Loud noise & the wire adapter about to break after 2 weeks, December 9, 2010
By Deion Tran
The first two weeks the machine worked just fine until...two days after there were such a loud noise coming from inside the main frame when I pedal so I had to stop (it has been 3 days since the noise and it's still there). I contacted the company support and they said to remove the frame to see where the noise was coming from; it was coming from the front axle. They told me to put some WD-40 to lubricate the front axle...seriously? I only had it for 2 weeks! Also to my surprise I noticed the wire inside the frame in the back where you insert the adapter almost break. Had to email them back today, and now I'm waiting for their response...I guess I got the bad one.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great workout everyday!, November 23, 2010
By Lissette Irizarry
Exactly what I expected! Doesn't take up much room, is quiet, tension features allow for a more strenuous workout. It was delivered on time with all its parts; needs about 2 hours to set up. I placed it in my room facing the TV to catch up on my recorded programs. It's like having a mini gym. Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Not a bad machine at all, June 13, 2010
By jarrodchristman.com
Like most who considered and eventually bought this workout machine, i was looking for a way to get my cardio exercise in while at home. But at the same time i don't have a lot of cash to spend on these types of things and thus i searched items within the lower end. But i was shocked as i read reviews that stated this or that machine broke after a month, came bent, missing parts, squeaked...etc. I am glad to say that is not the case here. This machine, once assembled, is rock solid, quiet, and functional.
Now time for the bad. First off, this thing is a pain to get assembled. Most of it went smoothly, but a quick tip, when it comes time to attach the swivel arms that the pedals attach to, it is far easier to disassemble the pivot cylinder that attaches to the pedal crank, then bolt the pivot cylinder onto the pedal crank and then reattach it to swivel arm... Otherwise you'll have a difficult time getting the bolts to thread correctly. Now, ignoring the assembly, i also noticed that when you use the machine, as you bend your legs they may hit the swivel arms every once in a while. For the most part it isn't too bad when it happens and happens quite rarely, but they definitely could have given a bit more length so you'd have more play room (and this is with the pedals in the rear holes, so they're as far away as they can get). And lastly, as another reviewer mentioned, the stride is a bit small. If you're used to working out on an elliptical at a gym, chances are you won't be able to do any crazy long strides like you could do on those.
However, with all of this said, the machine does give a satisfying cardio workout, and so, for the price you can't complain too much about its few shortcomings.

This is a great workout machine for the price. I use it frequently, and I am very happy with my purchase. It has some impressive features I didn't expect, such as being able to choose different preset workout intensities, work to my target heart rate, and a "recovery" measure to see how long it takes my heart rate to get back to normal.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Love it!, September 9, 2010
By Dawn
Will caution you first...this is not for heavy people. I'm 145lbs and after a couple of weeks of daily use, the left side developed an annoying squeak so I wouldn't recommend this for those that weigh over 150. (I oiled all of the joints and there's no more squeaking by the way) What I really love about this product is that it doesn't weigh a ton. I've converted half of my garage into a home gym and in the process, I moved this baby around alot. The seat is a wonderful feature. I do my exercising before work each morning at 4am and don't always feel like running right off the bat so 5 minutes of "biking" is always nice to wake me up.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Please help- Manual or Contact info for company!!, June 9, 2010
By Ivy Raine
Hello- I haven't actually used this item yet. The reason is because the first one I got had a crack in the main frame, and the second one was missing an entire set of tools and the instruction manual (wish I had known that before I sent the first one back!). The UPS man is literally going to go on strike if I have another one of those packages go out/come in. Can anyone give me the contact info for this company (Body Max) and/or know where to find the manual online? I have searched high and low for it but to no avail. Amazon's only options were to get a small credit for the missing tools, send it back or get it replaced, and I would so love to take the credit if I only knew what screws and bolts and such to get (although I would rather get the actual pack from the manufacturer). I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

I'll update the review when/if I ever get to use it...

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice, July 27, 2011
By Gigi
Body Champ BRM3671 Cardio Dual Trainer is everything the description states and the video shows. Very smooth and quiet glide and the bike is an added bonus! Stride feels a little short but my husband and I are around 5'5" and weigh under 145 lbs. so it works for us. No parts were missing. Delivered in good shape and in a timely manner. A good value when you check this model on other web sites, and believe me, I did lots of checking! It's nice that there is an adapter so no batteries are needed and the monitor has lots of nice features. My husband assembled this by himself in about 1-1/2 to 2 hrs. I stood by and occasionally handed him something or held a piece in place. It's not too "huge" and fits nicely in our spare bedroom. I am very pleased with this purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Value combo for cardio workout, July 2, 2011
By The Musician (Around the World)
I bought this item for my mom. She wanted a stationary bike, but decided to give this combo device a try for its integrated elliptical workout add-on. For under $200, it's a great value purchase. It took me a couple of hours daily to assemble it during 2-3 days until it was ready for utilization. Although it's possible to turn on and alter the internal, electrically powered, magnetic resistance mechanism level to the user's liking, my mom has been fine with the powered off, initial state of the resistance. What she has really been complaining about, though, are the pedals, which are rather uncomfortable and somewhat slippery, when biking, due to their prolonged size and positioning. Also, the seat is slightly uncomfortable, too, to sit on, and the grips are vertical, unlike those on a regular bike to hold on to. Othan than that, it takes a while to get accustomed to this piece of equipment and make the best of it.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Price is right!, June 17, 2011

The set up was straight forward it did take me about an hour and a half to put it together with no help. It's not a sturdy machine for heavier or taller people. I am 5'3 and I weigh 118lbs and if I increase my speed it starts to wobble. All in all the price is right so it works for maintaining wight but not a good machine for those serious athletes.

We have had this for about a month now and it has been great. It took awhile to put it together, not hard just a lot of parts. My only complaint would be that it's loud when you're pressing the buttons on the screen. Other than that we love it, great price for what you get!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  nice machine for the price, April 22, 2011
By Ken Morris (PA)
Takes about 1 1/2 hours to put together. All parts are clearly labeled, including all the bolts, nuts and washers. I was very pleased with this purchase. I was looking for an eliptical trainer that would not cost me to much but at the same time I wanted one that is good quality. This seems to fit the bill. I used it last night and it is very quiet and provides a good work out. I would recommend this trainer.

I purchased the Body Champ BRM3671 Cardio Dual Trainer, for the simple purpose of getting a decent work out at home without having to go to the gym. I was really surprised how easy it was to assemble. All the pieces were clearly marked which made it all the better. For an average person who works out about 30 minutes a day its great. I like the ergonomics of the handles and the ease of shifting the seat and bars to adjust. For my money it was well worth it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Shipped Fast & Easy to Assemble, April 7, 2011
By RayRay
Got the equipment in less than 1 week. Packaged great, the assembly was easy, takes about 90 minutes. Good idea to get a rubber mat for the bottom to help stability and prevent from wear and tear on your floor if it is hardwood. I am 5'7 so I don't have any issues with it being too small for me. The computer is at a bit of a weird angle if you are seated, not the easiest to see, but if you are standing it's fine. A little more wobbly standing, but absolutely none seated. Great product for the price!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great little piece of equipment., March 24, 2011
By cattail (Knoxville, TN United States)
I've been trying to recover from plantar fasciata in my feet and this has been very helpful to me. When my feet start hurting I sit and bike a while. For the money that this cost, it is a great elliptical. Sure, it wobbles a little, but it doesn't take up much space and it's light to move. The directions are easy to follow (if you read them) and it wasn't hard to put together. I agree with some others that if the control panel had a light it would be great, but overall, great value for the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  pretty good!, March 5, 2011
By white maui
For being a older female and assembling this trainer by myself with the tools only that came with the trainer kit, it took me around 5 hours... Now this was done in a slower motion too.. I did have problems with one of the pedals because the treads were backwards than the bolt I was using... till I figured it out..(that did kill some time).. lol... Everything else went well! The machine isn't as sturdy as the "more" expensive gym types but, still gives me a great work-out... Doesn't affect the performance at ALL!!

I will have to tighten some of the bolts again because it does tend to wobble more I use the trainer...

I do use a little resistance by plugging it in.. I did notice that the display goes away while in use.. Not sure why this happens.. I can press the "Mode" button and it does come back but not sure how much is lost...

Overall.... I still LOVE this trainer for it's portability, smaller size, and durability...

take off the for hex bolts right under the logo "cardio dual trainer" sticker. have someone lift up the handles while you grease up the inside of the tube where the bolts go. re-assemble and make sure you don't damage the wires that run inside the tube. I used honda official grease that i had lying around and i added "loctite" to the bolts, assuring that the bolts wont loosen up after heavy use.You can find everything at a local autozone for about $15-20 if you include the tool.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Nice elliptical for the price, February 13, 2011
By R. Lee (Hercules, CA)
I needed a new fitness machine as my treadmill gave out and I wanted someone with less impact so I went with an elliptical machine. I really didn't want to spend over $1000 for these machines as I just wanted a basic good machine. I held off on buying one because I was extremely worried I would have problems assembling the machine. So I read many reviews and looked at many different machines and I picked this one based on other buyer's review, so I wanted to give my own review if it helps anyone who is deciding to buy one. When I received the package, I took out every single piece and put them on the floor. I was kind of intimidating seeing so many parts. I do have to say the bolts, nuts, etc were categorized in their own little compartment which made finding the parts to use extremely easy. Not only did the instructions tell you the part number, it also gave you an illustration. I just looked for the part number as it is labelled on the cardboard that the stuff is on. Anyways, it took me 90 mins to finish. I could have been done probably in a little over an hour but I installed 2 pieces on upside down :-( and had to undo it. If I looked at the diagram better, I wouldn't have made that mistake. You can consider this good or bad but it was a pain to take out the individuals nuts and bolts because they were all taped down. This is good since they won't be missing or anything but a pain to take out (yea I'm lazy). And there were NO missing parts. Some of the parts came oiled because my hands became a little greasy. You can definitely do it by yourself but it is a little easier with 2 people on some of the steps. Once I got everything set up, I did try it and it works great. I do get a little winded on it and as other said, it does wobble a little back and forth. Not bad for me - 5'6 150lbs. If they made the front and rear stabilizer a bit longer that would have solved the problem, or made a middle stabilizer but I don't mind. I'm trying to figure out how to use the computer problems as you can have manual, training, heart rate training, and user created training. I been using the manual mode because the others tend to have a countdown timer and it goes off and I'm still figuring out all the settings. But so far I'm glad I bought it. If you are a little intimated in setting it up, like I was, you can do it. Just be patient and look at the diagram. It will tell you which parts to use and how many, and it is really easy to find the part since they are grouped together and taped down really good. I'll give another update once I use it more.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Good Buy, February 12, 2011
By mandy08
I think this was a very good buy. I get a great workout in without having to spend money to go to the gym every week. However, I was told that it was a pain to put together...which was a bit disappointing since I read the reviews and was told that it was fairly easy to put together. But all in all I would recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Exactly what I was looking for., February 9, 2011
By pghbob (Pennsylvania)
This is exactly what I was looking for. Product came quickly, was packaged well, and was easy to put together with the tools provided. It operates very smoothly, and I enjoy using it. Could have a better seat though for cycling. The elliptical is very smooth and easy to use, and is very quiet. It has many tension settings.

It looks good too.

It takes a little time to understand how to set the controls. At least it did for me.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase and I recommend it. I think it's a good value for your money.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent Work Out!, February 8, 2011
By student (Pittsburgh, Pa)
I get a decent workout from this elliptical. Every now and then the bolts do need ajusted but for the most part stays quiet. I am 5'7 and I have no problems with the gait size. Having a seat is good when you want to switch to biking.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Good Performance. Good Price., December 19, 2010
By Z. Han (NC, USA)
Pros: Price, Features based on the price.
Cons: The step distance is a little bit too small. It's good for small person not me with 182cm height. For small person or ladies it is perfect

4.0 out of 5 stars.  We love our elliptical!, December 11, 2010
By Amanda
We received our elliptical in two days, carried it upstairs, and in about an hour it was all done. The packaging was awesome- all the little parts were in a separate little labeled compartment, so it was very easy to find exactly what we needed for each step. We've been using it often, and it seems to be working great. There are lots of programs available, and the computer part is much nicer than others I've looked at in this price range. The only thing is that it does wobble a bit when we use it, but not much. That might even have more to do with our floor than anything (it's a bit uneven in spots.) All in all, I would definitely buy this product over again, and I would also recommend it to friends. It was a great value, and perfect if you aren't looking to spend too much money.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Worth every penny, November 2, 2010
By almorrison
It does exactly what I hoped. Great resistance, easy but time consuming to put together, and worth what I paid for. The lower handle bars used for pulse and heart rate I removed because my knees kept hitting them when I was using the elliptical part. I am 5'9" and my husband is 6'2", so keep this in mind tall people. Easy fix and I am happy with what I purchased. It does need some WD-40 b/c I keep it out in the garage in the winter, but I can easily work with that.

Well worth it!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  From box to usage, September 26, 2010
By Elgee
My Body Champ Cardio Dual Trainer was easy to put together and is fairly well constructed. I like the electronic set up. Makes a lot of noise, especially when using elliptical feature. I'm not a big person, but the machine is also unsteady in the elliptical mode. That being said, it's still a pretty good workout machine and is worth the money. I would recommend this machine to tone up with.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  A Big Thumbs Up for Amazon!, June 17, 2010

Putting it together was a breeze! All the tools were clearly labeled. I was a little shocked by the diagram initially, however, it went together and handles like a charm!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Good value for money, but not the sturdiest., January 20, 2011
By Maverick (Massachusetts, USA)
The packaging was great and the assembly instructions were really simple and detailed. Assembly of the product was not difficult at all; although I would recommend people to have extra tools on hand because some of the bolts (they're Metric not standard!!) are really tough to tighten with the tools that come with the product. The product itself seems to be quite well built; however the "computer" or electronic controller that comes with it is sort of cheaply built. Both the elliptical and cycling features work OK.
A word of caution for people who are heavier than ~ 150-160 lbs: when you use this product as an elliptical; it will tend to roll or sway a little bit from side to side. It's a weird feeling at first but not one that is unsafe as long as the floor that you install this on is relatively straight.
Again, for the price, this is a good product but if you are a really heavy duty cardio workout type of person who maxes out the resistance and the effort level during your workout; you might want to look at a product that is much sturdier than this one!

For the price, this is a great machine. It's not your $2000 gym elliptical trainer but it is solid and sturdy and great for a quick workout at home.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Noisy and broke after 2 months, August 30, 2011
By tpizzy
Maybe it's the fact that I, a teenager who has never really put anything together, put this together by myself. Took a good 4-5 hours. I really don't feel like going into detail but yes this thing was noisy *for me* and I tried to find the source of the problem but nope! No such luck. Tightened every bolt I could get to and it was still squeaking. As for it breaking I have no I idea what happened. All of a sudden when I would get on it would feel like it was stuck on lvl 14. I liked to be at 11 or 12. I even called the number provided on the manual and the operator told me it was probably an internal thing, right inside that area where the pedals are at. Nope, I did not try to open it up. Had absolutely no patience or time. I moved recently so I just left it behind at my parents house to rot.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Love this!, August 8, 2011
By Anne
I love this dual trainer! Originally I was going to go with a model that just served as an elliptical and was almost double the cost but luckily came across this trainer when I went to place my original order. The machine was easy to put together, is light enough I can move it out of the way when I'm not using it, small enough that it doesn't overpower my 13'x8' t.v. room and is not only sturdy but is super quiet! I mainly have been using it as an elliptical but have used it as a bike and it doesn't seem to be a problem for my barely 5'3" frame, my boyfriend (5'11") uses it more for the bike part and says it works perfectly for him as well. Both myself and my boyfriend are very satisfied with purchase (not that his opinion matters much since it was my birthday gift)!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Serves the purpose, May 30, 2011
By Ross
I bought this because I needed an exercise machine at the comfort of my home. The machine is ok for the price. Here's some of my observations: 1. It wobbles no matter how good you position it. 2. Can hear clunking sound on the pedal. 3. The stride is so short and my legs will bump into the machine. Other than these, it served the pupose. I use it 2 hours a day for 3 weeks now and it's good.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Good Purchase, April 8, 2011
By Thomas P. Sullivan (Milwaukee, WI United States)
For the price, this is a great machine. It was delivered promptly and all parts were there. Assembly took some time, but the instructions I found to be quite detailed and helpful. My 3 year olds big wheel was more difficult to put together. The machine is surprisingly sturdy and has a small footprint, so does not take up too much space in my basement. It's relatively light and easy to move around the room. Overall, for the price, a great machine. Now if I can just get off my lazy butt and use it!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Body Champ Dual Trainer, March 30, 2011

The Body Champ was pretty easy to put together, it took my husband and I about an hour. I am pleased with the Body Champ, I can really feel it in my legs. It could be a little more stable but overall it is better then I expected.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Body Champ, March 27, 2011
By hael40
This item was really easy to assemble and I did it by myself. The use of the trainer is very easy, and a really good work out; instantly felt it working. I've read some complaints about noises, but truly it has moving parts and you are going to hear them move! The noises are barely there, and should not cause worry with purchasing it. It is fantastic, and a fantastic price! Buy it you won't be sorry.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Got my sweat on, February 9, 2011
By Aprilinseattle
I wanted to increase my cardio routine from 5 hours a week to 8 hours. The increase is intended to be a lighter form of cardio, more of a maintenance. I bought this so I could do 30 mins of cardio before I shower in the morning. I tried it out for the first time yesterday and I definitley got sweaty on this. It has a short stride for sure, but if you think of it as more of a stair climb movement it's good. It has a heart rate monitor which is nice to make sure I'm on target, not over or under doing it. The resistance I thought was pretty good for a small compact home piece of equipment. I haven't cranked it up all the way yet, but half way I could feel a big difference. The controls for resistance are push button and not a crank dial which is much better I think. The bike part is a little awkward, need to adjust the seat more I think. It is stable, the base doesn't move at all, but the handle stem seems to rock side to side, this could be that my nuts and bolts aren't tight enough. The directions for assembly were very easy to follow. I didn't have any trouble because everything is clearly labelled with number and images. Everything you need to assemble is include, all tools too - I only needed something to cut tape and packaging. Overall I think this is a great little machine - as long as your expectations are reasonable for a home, COMPACT piece of equipment. Some people buy something like this and think it will be just like the super expensive machines in the gym.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  good product for the money, January 24, 2011
By charlie1231
I owned this unit for a few days. All parts are there, the assembled unit looks nice and worked for the purpose. A few things to remind: 1. left-and-right wobbled a bit when walked a little bit faster. But definitely can't cause a fall. 2. wish the stride a bit bigger and the arm stretch a little longer (if the step board could be moved further back or the arm handle could be bent a little forward, the arm may feel stretched better). I am 5'8", 140lb. Although the elliptical portion is more suitable for a shorter person, the bike portion fits me well. Plus the duo adjustable seat, a much taller person should feel comfortable too. 3. really wish the LCD coming with a backlight (that should not add to the cost much). Now I am looking for an external light for it. I noticed that there seems to have a battery compartment in the back of the LCD display unit. But no battery seats were found. BTW, the cover lid for the compartment is too tight to open and the tab on the lid is too fragile. I broke the tab when I tried to open the lid. 4. Just as some of the reviews mentioned, I also noticed clicking sounds every cycle of the crank move. I believe that the sound came from the the stride adapter connection. Not sure whether loosing or tightening nuts will remove the sound. Anyway I try to tolerate that. If LCD were back-lit, I would be very happy.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  I Recommend it, January 18, 2011
By iowahawkeye2010 (Iowa)
I assembled this machine in less then 2 hours. The directions are easy to follow. The only part that is hard is putting the pedals on (this may require 2 people). I have been using the machine for a week and love it. I have had to re-do the pedals because I didn't tighten them enough the first time. The machine is kinda wobbly-I am thinking about getting a mat to put under it, that might solve the problem. The computer part is great! Keeps track of time, distance, calories, and pulse rate.
