I didn't love this. I was hoping it would prepare my toddler for what the dentist does in her mouth and what he is looking for in her teeth. I was pretty disappointed.

My son has several of the Max books and enjoys them all. He's 4 and enjoys the simple quick reads. This is the perfect book to read before you go to the dentist. Gets your child engaged for that visit. My son also looks like Max so that's a bonus. I'm encouraged to find books with 'brown' kiddo's in them! I recommend all the Max books.
