 Buy SOFT toothbrushes not MEDIUM.

I am a Dentist for over 25 years and I strongly urge you to buy only a soft tooth brush for brushing your teeth.
I spend time almost every working day advising patients on how to prevent gum recession and
root surface wear. I have placed hundreds if not thousands of restorations to replace the worn
and often sensitive root surfaces. Please don't make the mistake of buying anything but a soft or extra soft
tooth brush. If you wear your brush out quickly then you are using too much force. Now buy "SOFT".
Colgate does make quality dental products.

This is a great toothbrush. I've only ever used soft ones before, but the bristles from my last one started falling off, so I decided to try medium. I'm glad I did! At first the bristles were a bit stiffer than I liked, but after about a week of use they softened just a little. This toothbrush makes my teeth feel CLEAN. Instead of brushing for about 3 minutes to get that clean feeling with a soft brush, I'm down to the recommended 2 minutes with the same feeling afterwards.
This toothbrush doesn't feel cheap at all. It's shaped well to the hand, and has a good grip so it doesn't slide around or out of my hand. The head is a little larger than the toothbrush I had before, but I don't have any problems reaching even the back teeth.
