Kademani and Tiwana realized there was no such book available to OMS and other head and neck surgeons. They very easily could have thrown together a book that many would have bought because this type of text was so desperately needed. Instead, they have put together the most accessible, well thought out, educational atlas available. They do not over reach and attempt to make this more than an atlas, but they do include a brief history of each procedure. I appreciate the armamentarium section, illustrations and pictures excellent, and references helpful as well.

This text has been an invaluable resource as I prepare for board certification.

I hope to shake the hands of these two editors at some point because this contribution to OMS is invaluable.

The only flaw in this book is that it comes in one gargantuan book instead of in two volumes. I would have been willing to pay a little more to have this textbook divided into two books for ease-of-carry. Any other medical text this size would probably be divided. This thing is a monster and is meant to sit on your desk or shelf.

I'm a practicing otolaryngologist, but this is a great reference for me to educate myself on what my oral surgeon colleagues are dealing with in the head and neck. An outstanding text.
