Although a variety of cephalometric data are available concerning the lateral view of the face, no organize data have been available on the transverse dimension of the face. This volume provides information on the transverse dimension, including variability, growth pattern, facial typology and relationship to malocclusion. This volume is intended to supplement the volume, An Atlas of Craniofacial Growth (Riolo et al., 1974), which provides standards of facial depth and height.
