Product Description:

This book was written as a second opinion for young orthodontists. Chapter 1 discusses the effect of orthodontic treatment on facial aesthetics. It begins by showing how extraction treatments can have a positive effect on some faces and a negative effect on other faces. Chapter 2 discusses the 6 Keys to non extraction treatment. Chapters 4, 5, 6 and 7 use case reports to show how a wide variety of Class 1, Class II division 2, Class II division 1 and Class III malocclusions can be treated without mid arch extractions. Case reports are also used to illustrate how bimaxillary proclination malocclusions, congenitally missing teeth and impacted canine problems can be tackled. The emphasis again is on avoiding mid arch extractions followed by retraction and contraction mechanics. The book has over 400 pages and over 2000 color photographs. Case reports of 60 patients are used.
