 It really works great!

I just wanted to write a quick review of this vacuum forming machine. I am making acrylic retainers at home and I needed a machine to do the vacuum forming. I was definitely hesitant to buy this at first. But, after buying it and using it to make many retainers, I can say this it really works great. The heater heats up the acrylic in less than a minute and the vacuum motor provides plenty of suction to form the retainer. The unit is heavy and sturdy...and feels very solid. In addition, I contacted the seller with a couple questions and they were EXTREMELY responsive and helpful.
As someone who thought for a bit before buying this, I would definitely buy it again.

This worked for only a few months with little use and the vacuume part stopped working. I contacted the company and they requested that I take the bottom part of the machine apart to take pictures and send to them. Needles to say it has been two months with no fix. I have asked to have sent in, money back or new one. I received a new button. Now I have to pay to have someone try and put that on if that is even the problem . The co is in china or Japan and for what your paying just buy from a dental company with a 5 yr warrenty .

First, we got a European socket and that didn't work with the US plug real well. The suction is not strong enough for our purpose. It's also not "returnable" as we have to pay for the shipping. By the time we minus the shipping cost, there's hardly any money back.

the mold machine itself arrived in fine condition but I haven't got to test it out yet as the "free gift" was not included. I contacted the seller and they tried to get me to buy something else so they could ship it with that because If they were to send just the plastic "it might get lost". if you get tracking on a package, as any reputable seller would do, its impossible to lose a package. plus that's just a ridiculous thing to say to begin with! then they said something about it getting broke on the way, to which I replied, "i'm sure they have bubble wrap in china". so I can't rate the machine yet because i'm not spending money on expensive plastic when I don't even know if the machine does what it's supposed to do. I saw the machine a few dollars cheaper somewhere else but went with this seller BECAUSE of the free gift, I knew I could try the machine out without putting out any more money. so all in all, not a good experience so far.
