This is a good review text but I find myself having to look at other texts to answer clinical questions at times. The surgical procedures, as mentioned in another review, are just not detailed enough so unless you already know what you are doing then this wont help much.

Just bought it , as future resident in OMS
I'm disappointed. surgical procedures are not described precisely , it's more a "information sheet"
And there is no surgical anatomy of the zones to treaat. Which goes with precedent critic
Is not worth for a surgeon

This is a great resource for a quick "brush-up" read on various topics- the chapters are all very concise with just enough info to make them useful without too much detail- not a very portable book though!

good and current book. involving various aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with specific chapters on endoscopy, antibiotics, anti-coagulated patients ... recommend the purchase of this text.

THIS BOOK IS A GREAT TEXT FOR ANY ONE WORKING IN THE FIELDS OF HEAD AND NECK;INCLUDING ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY,AS REFERENCE FOR CLINICAL ASSESSMENT, DIAGNOSTIC SURGICAL TECHNIC,AND EVIDENCE-BASED APPROACH I WENT THROUGH ITS PARTS AND CHAPTERS,WHICH DELIGHTED ME.AND ADVICE MY COLLEAGUES FOR PURCHASING A COPY OF IT.
