Flip top is the worst design ever

This toothpaste's flip top should be consigned to the dump heap of failed inventions, along with all the flying machines that came before Wilber and Orville Wright's. What a mess! There's no way to keep the toothpaste from gunking up the lid and who wants to try to clean the glop off every night when you just want to hop in bed?!? The toothpaste itself might be the greatest thing since sliced bread (an invention that's done pretty well for itself), but I threw it out after a few uses. I tried to find a screw cap around the house that I could replace the flip top with, but of course nothing's the same size. Heaven forbid a Crest top be repurposed for a Colgate tube!
